Capello and Sant'Albano had a 4hour long meeting this morning, discussing the future of Capello. It ended around one o'clock.

They made no declarations to the press.

My guess is that Capello stays if we stay in Serie A. He'll leave (probably to Real) if we are demoted. In that case, Novellino seems the most serious candidate.

Maybe they hit a stumbling block.
As I understood it yesterday, Capello were supposed to give a definitive yes or no answer in that meeting.

Fabio Capello’s meeting with Juventus today lasted for four hours, but it’s unclear whether his future at the club was discussed.

It was reported that this morning’s talks would determine whether the Coach remained in Turin or leave, with Real Madrid his most likely destination.

However, all those involved in Thursday’s discussions left the club’s headquarters without offering any statements to the media.

Capello met with temporary chief executive Carlo Sant’Albano and new sporting director Alessio Secco.

The meeting was officially scheduled to discuss the club’s transfer market objectives, even if that may not have been totally accurate.

Some whispers have alleged that the trio discussed the possibility of Capello resigning, thus meaning that Juve wouldn’t have to pay any compensation given that his contract expires in 2007.

First good tactical move by Cap. Congrats, Fabio, it has taken you two years, but it's a masterpiece. Now get the hell out of my club, you're invited to dinner at Cassano's.

this news say that capello will not go to real

Capello, no a Calderon

Juve hint at Capello exit Wednesday 14 June, 2006

-------------------------------------------------------------------------

Juventus have laid out plans for their 'English style’ club, but hinted that Fabio Capello will leave if they are relegated.

“We’ll give more space to young players and are aiming for a new model of club, starting from the Juve spirit,” explained CEO Carlo Sant’Albano. “Capello has been very clear with us and we’ll see what happens. In any case, I appreciate him.”

The future of the tactician has been in doubt ever since the Calciopoli scandal broke, as an investigation into alleged match-fixing and collusion with referees could see the Turin giants docked points or even demoted to Serie B.

Sant’Albano’s comments suggest that Capello has warned he’ll move on, reportedly to Real Madrid, if the worst case scenario comes to pass.

The former Roma and Milan boss has never been particularly popular with a section of the die-hard Juve fans due to his treatment of captain Alessandro Del Piero.

The Bianconeri changed their entire Board of Directors in the wake of the scandal and are set to make more adjustments to their set-up.

“I want to imitate the English model of football clubs,” continued the CEO. “This difficult moment we are going through has enabled us to look back over the 109 years of history, values and responsibilities we have built. I was called by the owners to lay the foundations so that this can all be preserved.”

The Stadio Delle Alpi will be restructured this year to reduce the capacity from 70,000 to 43,000 and build a business park into the venue.

“Our history is made of success, team spirit, entertaining sport, but also of elegance and gentlemanly conduct. Our victories were earned with sacrifice and hard work, and these values are at the heart of a brand which is universally recognised throughout 14 million fans spread all over the world. I firmly believe this project will bring football back to the centre of our rebirth. It’ll be up to the men involved to use those elements with fair play, intelligence and a firm hand.”

The new model looks promising, it seems Albano knows exactly what Juve are all about. :)

Is capello a coach for young players, hell no. Despite his freedom to choose his own players his obviously gonna have to give some youths a chance too which would ask a lot from his tactical mind and assertiveness. Im glad his having possibly second thoughts by the sound of things and the sooner he leaves the better. As for the loyalty issue, to be honest I would expect him to leave no matter what if we relegate anyway, his never been loyal to any of the clubs his managed and never will be. I think a move to england beckons for cap...
