Too bad that particular record is tainted and we are not sure by what means they were achieved, whether fair or foul
and your blaming Capello for Moggi's mistake? Where ever Capello goes he will win games, in the past 15 years he has won 4 scudetoo's with milan, 1 with roma, 2 with juve and 1 la liga with real madrid. was milan's 72 matches at the top of the table a scam too?

Novellino staying put at Samp

Genoa, May18 (SW) - Walter Novellino, the young and highly rated tactician of the Serie A, has denied all reports linking him with a move to Juventus. The modest Italian admitted to being somewhat flattered by the reports but reiterated his loyalty to Sampdoria.

Juventus are facing a somewhat uncertain future after all the legal ramblings and investigations of the past few months and the fans of ‘The Old Lady‘ cannot bear to think of their beloved club relegated to Serie B as punishment.

But it is a distinct possibility. Enter Novellino, the Serie B escapologist, renowned for his work in bringing clubs like Venezia, Napoli, Piacenza, Doria and of course Sampdoria, to the Serie A.

Could I join Juventus if they were in Serie B? It’s always nice to be associated with a club like that, but they know that I have a contract at Samp,” said Novellino.

I am already working towards the new season with Sampdoria, looking at who to buy.

“As for what is happening in the game right now, we need to clarify the situation and clean things up quickly
.”

But there is no smoke without fire and alarm bells were ringing at Sampdoria last weekend after the last match of the season. After losing 3-1 at home to relegated Lecce, Novellino launched a scathing attack on his players, saying,

"The season ends in the same vein as the last two and a half months: without organisation, enthusiasm or passion.

"There wasn't even any dignity on an individual level and we paid the price for that."

Sampdoria have had a mediocre season too, finishing in 14th place on 41 points. Maybe, just maybe, if Juve were to be relegated, this young tactical genius would see the job in Turin as more of a challenge than the job in Genoa.

Juventus completed their final training session this morning before a well-earned summer break for their players and staff. Balzaretti, Birindelli, Blasi, Bonnefoi, Giannichedda, Pessotto and Zebina were all in attendance at the Sisport centre where they took part in a game with the youth sector. At the end of the session Capello addressed the players and press, naming the 15th July as the first day of pre-season training.

ok so you think the 4 teams he was with he just won cups because his team was skilled?

Do you think Frank Rijkaard is a good coach, or is he just a mediocre coach with a good team?

On the first point, I dont think nobody here is questioning Capello's past, he was indeed a great coach, the problem is that now his tactics are boring, predictable and only works to win local tournaments.

On the second point, yes I do believe that Barcelona's succes is based on their team and not their coach. But theres a diference between Rijkaard and Capello, The first one actually knows how to win big games.

I disagree and after the 06/07 season is over you'll no why. You can't just expect Capello to come to juve and within 2 years win everything. He has won big games....1994 Champions league finals? vs. Barca? 4-0? No coach can come to a team and within one year or 2 years win everything. Capello has won 2 Scudetto's and both seasons Juve went past the quarter finals of Champions League. When will you start liking Capello when he wins every cup available to him in a season? Get over it at least were not milan who have won nothing in the past 2 years.

Ok, now we can not change what has happened.Capello will surely be our coach for the next year. That's not so good but bashing is not a solution. So let's hope he will somehow change his tactics and do something good in Europe(if we play in the CL next year)

Forza Capello

hmmm. You have a point here.Mourinho has spent 10 times more money than Capello and has only domestic success...
But there is a difference between their decisions and their tactics.
Anyway, as I said before we can not do something now

its not about the results, its about how we get kicked out of europe.

this year we got kicked out of champions league in a rough way, i agree. Ibrah played bad, vieira played bad, nedved played bad, Del piero was inujured. I understand Capello should have rested some of our guys, but if we had younger guys on the team we wouldn't have this problem. nedved is retiring, vieira is getting there too, thuram is old and canna isn't getting younger and the same with zambrotta. Now i love every one of those guys but i would also love if next year we splashed some youth into the lineup, which apparently we are doing. So if you want to make fun of Capello next season go ahead but I'm sure we will contend for champions next year.

Lippi did it, so before youstart spouting, know your juve football correctly. When under Capello did we go past 1/4 finals in Cl?
