Good post, and of course - I'm aware of the talent he has at his disposal..
If I didn't, I wouldn't be watching any of the games or know anything about the squad :)

And I said, it's ok to be critical, which I also am
But he's not a complete moron, and we must not tare him apart in our reviews of what he's doing, that was my entire point.

You should perhaps pay a little bit more attention to the lower leagues in Europe so that you could properly understand just how difficult it is at this level.
Where does the tiredeness excuse come in here? I tried to fit it in what you said and didn't succeed, not even between the lines.

If you guys want to discuss fatigue, go right ahead
Fatigue is an excuse Capello is using to cover for his ineptness. How can he excuse fatigue if he approaches the games with minimum effort? Why doesn't fatigue affect Milan players?

it does, but I don't wanna discuss this

My point was clear: that it's ok to criticize but one must do it with some moderation

Looking at his career achievements, it's clear that he's no idiot.

Someone once said, Capello was a great coach, but his methods are not great anymore, at this moment he is just an ok coach, a domestic coach, nothing more.

Exactly, his train has passed long ago. Actually, his domestic abilities are deteriorating as well.

Why are you chasing me with it, it's not even important

I made one comment about it: that he doesn't rotate often enough

that's, in case you didn't know, criticism of Capello

deteriorating, yes

good/ok coach, yes

moron, no

everything clear?

I'm not defending the mistakes he DOES make, but it's not like he makes mistakes ALL the time. We're on the verge of winning a league title for christ's sake.

If you want to say that we only have the players to thank for our success on the pitch, even though that's a different topic, you're WRONG.

Read this very carefully, please:

He might be wrong sometimes but that doesn't make him a worthless coach

It's cool with me if you wanna call him an ok coach or even an average coach or one with "deteriorating skills", if that's how you see it, but calling him useless/moron/crap/idiot/deserving of death - things like that which has been said about him from time to time on this forum, is not cool.

I will oppose that and say that he's undeserving of such comments.

I believe there are better coaches out there, but not many, and I doubt we would be able to acquire one of them.

Name them

Because in addition to being good coaches, they must also understand the culture of FC Juventus and be able to follow strict rules and tradition and get respect from the group of players who already know what the club is about.

Umm, that's what I said

And there aren't many, in my opinion, who fits the bill

But go on then, name some of those on your mind, chop chop

C'mon Jeeks, you know me better than that :p

Seriously, though

You know I'll back down when I realize I've made a mistake

Name a coach whom I would think would do better, one we could get, and I'll agree with you :pint:

Also, we could end the debate right now

All I wanted to say was that Capello, although "deteriorating" - to quote you - is not a completely useless moron, as some ppl here suggest.

Of course he is and this is where I end the discussion. His latest stupidity was putting Zebina instead of Mutu and subbing Del Piero.

Agreed with the Del Piero sub, because we need him against Palermo, fully fit, and injuryfree

The Zebina for Mutu sub was a little odd, I agree, but like I said earlier - He DOES make mistakes..

And so do you, obviously, does that make YOU a moron? :)
