well everyone here wants cap to leave, the argument here is who is going to take charge after him ? That will be a very interesting period and a very important period at time.
Between the proposed managers, i dont think that many of them are capable of handling this team as it does have a certain mentality, certain expectations, so the we raise the bar a bit higher than many teams.
The only one who can handle this team with it's resposibilities IMO is Prandelli.And ofcourse we have our usual big names
NOT spalletti, eriksson,deschamps,etc...
Back to this year...ppl here r really underestimating the scudetto and the effort the players and the whole team put in this competition. Just look how happy they r in these couple of matches when equalize or in the siena game win.
to cap, i would critisize him for some game's tactics.Not all of the games the team underperformed.And like it or not this guy is one of the reasons why this team is at the top right now.
But also i would critisize his man management this season, but also i would critsize the higher management as well for the discplinary problems this season.
Also probably the most negative aspect from Don Fabio this is season is the lack of rotation this season and playing players who r off-form.I think this was a great problem and it hurt us big towards the end. But another thing is that he doesnt have that much depth in this squad. But the likes of gianni, and blasi should've got more chances to play and ofcourse mutu.But looking the CBs and the wingers we didnt have the much choice this season and i hope next season we could get some players just to get some depth in some areas in the field .
And again whoz problem is this ? i will have to say cap's cuz he didnt ask for more players in some positions, but we dont know mybe he did and the club refused.
Abt the signing of viera... i think that cap made the right choice and he had some kind of perception of the impact of Paddy in the team. If u see his arsenal days he would push up a lot to help create plays and even score many times. Combining that with the tough game he plays, he was perfect for us both in the CL and serie A. But he failed to deliver that i would have to say at many games this season. And thats not caps fault.
Back to the question in matter? would i rather keep Old Don Fabio or let him go?
That solely depends on who is going to replace him, if its someone who can handle this team then soo be it. But if its a prospect manager then i would rather keep Cap

We all love entertaining football, I'm sure, but to say that no player has shone here while under Capello's management is untrue..
It's ok not to be a fan of Capello's style, acknowledge that he sometimes makes the wrong decisions and that he may not be the man who will bring us the CL-trophy etc. ...but we must not completely tare him apart in our criticism of him, because we haven't been off the top spot for almost 2 seasons now (God forbid that it happens) and he has managed to win things with this side.
Players such as Trezeguet, Cannavaro, Emerson, Del Piero and Zambrotta, just to name a few, are players who've done well under his leadership.
Apart from that, Balzaretti and Chiellini are two young players who've been given a chance, and done well..

Do not overrate his achievements as if you do not know let me fill you in on a little trip round our squad. The players he has to work with and why he has had the success , he has had. Cannavaro is the captain of Italy and has been captain of Parma in the past, Thuram was the captain of parma before Cannavaro took over, nedved is the captain of czech rep and has been for a long time, Vieira was the captain of Arsenal for almost 7 years and has captained France, Emerson was Brazil's captain before his wc mishap in 2002, Mutu is the captain of Romania, Dp is the captain of this team and has captained his country, Zambrotta has captained this team. Now thats about 8 captains he has to deal with, which makes his job so much easier when it comes to experience in beating smaller teams. It is when we meet the bigger teams and in cl, that they really need guidance so I am sorry I cannot give him any credit. This squad should at least get into the semis or final of cl and should be playing much better football than it has done this year, tiredness or not. Also, what kind of training do they do that makes them so tired?Yes 2 scudetti in 2 years is impressive on paper but the manner of achievement and feeble displays against other champions leaves a sour taste in the mouth. Everyone is now using rotation as an excuse as if that is his only failing, what about playing a system not suited to what he has or playing off form players just becos of his stupid bias towards some players and marginalising others? If he stays , i wont be surprised to see some players wanting to leave

You should perhaps pay a little bit more attention to the lower leagues in Europe so that you could properly understand just how difficult it is at this level.
