Which I don't think is OK, IMO, if he doesn't know the situation at hand.

I've seen him warn people for calling Ranieri a moron, but everybody seemed to do that though as the rest of the mods were lax.

And I agree with that though, because he WAS a moron.

Anyway, I suggest you unban Seven. It will be done sooner or later and people will discuss his case until then. Besides, it's healthy with some balance. Watch all victims and offended ones rule unchallenged in his absence.

You cannot ask every new member to ignore five or six members just because these five or six member want to keep on throwing shit at each other.

You can't and you won't that. Muslims put Andries in their ignore list. As simple as that. Isn't every piece of his posts pointless? Ain't they only supposed to instigate? Isn't he an attention whore? Isn't it better not to have him annoying people anymore? Everyone whose answers to these questions are yes, put him on his ignore list. Honestly Jack, if Seven is seeking for attention, who gives it to him the most? The Muslims. Had they been a bit cooler, I wouldn't have asked them to put Andries on their ignore lists because you necessarily don't need such a list to ignore those who annoy you. You simply can read what a person like Andries says and then avoid thinking about it/replying to it/hell even taking it seriously. But Muslims can't. It's a fact. They can't see Andries making fun of their beliefs and remain silent. They have to reply. Seven gets the attention he was seeking for and fights start.

I asked Ahmed and Salman, why don't they try to discuss with Seven in a healthier way, without calling him names and stuff and he said because Tahir had tried it before and that Andries doesn't discuss to learn something about the others' beliefs. He just wants to insult. Alright, so why don't they put him on their ignore lists? I'm not talking about every member to put five or six members on their ignore lists. It's only Seven for those who believe Andires' posts don't have a single point except for throwing insults at the others.


And I don't think anyone here claimed that it was Tahir who banned Seven because Alen said otherwise in the very first post of his. But in this case, you're punishing the one who's nothing but the easiest to punish. He's not innocent sure, but what he gets is unfair. Even when Fred wished Seven's parents to be killed, he didn't get such a long term ban. And now for this, this is not only Seven to blame. Byrone started it. Byrone first made fun of him. Byrone first made jokes about him. Byrone first mocked him with his avatar. In the end though, this is only Seven who gets banned because he tried to mock Muslims by his avatars and words about Mohammad. Now Rab is talking about himself asking Seven in a friendly manner to stop provoking the Muslims but did he also ask Byrone to drop his joke about Andries? Did he also ask Byrone not to provoke Seven?

Because you can hardly ever see (no, scratch that. You can never see...) Vlatko and Dule, Me and Zaim, xcen3x and Cronios or Goggo and Juve_Kosova fight here over our beliefs, political and religious views (we're catholic christians, ortodox christians, muslims and atheists), over the war or over the ongoing problems between our countries.
The Balkan thread doesn't have a single fight in it. Quite the opposite, you can only see friends joking, talking football.

Open a religious thread where the Asian muslims and all the non-muslims can post or open a thread where muslims and jews can post and see if you can do what the Balkans here do.

The subcontinent of India is about as diverse as the Balkans get and we too have a thread. There's not a single fight in there either.

What about it?
I saw completely different opinions and lots of history talk there, which didn't result with bans or insults.
I was the loudest one there and i completely disagreed, and still disagree, with the view of the Albanians, but i never entered into a silly fight with Bes, Arif or Juve_Kosova and i'm still in great/very good/good terms with all of them, just like i was before and during the Kosovo discusion.

Anyway, i still don't get your point.
If you're trying to say that the Balkans are the last ones who should tell others how to stop a conflict, then i would agree with you if you're talking about a Serbian, Croat, Albanian politician beeing given a task to stop the middle-East conflict and they start teaching the Palestinians and the Israeli, or the Muslims and the non-Muslims, how to behave.
But you were laughing at Vlatko and Dule trying to stop the fights in this forum, only because they're from the Balkan and made it sound like they could've done that if they're from Switzerland but they can't teach others how to behave if they're Balkans.
