"I hope we don’t need the ‘spareggio’, I still remember the game between Bologna and Inter," he stated.

That match in 1964 was the last time that a Scudetto showdown was needed, a game the Dall’Ara outfit won 2-0.

The two giants of the Italian game could in theory also meet in Europe this term, if they both reach the Champions’ League Final.
In the words of Kevin Keegan, I would absolutely love it if we beat Milan in a scudetto playoff and the Champions League final :strong:

That clash is currently set to take place at 15.00 hours local time, but there is a distinct possibility that it may kick-off at 20.30 hours instead for television.
I once read an article that said Del Piero seemingly plays better whenever matches are played at night, and IIRC had statistics to back it up too :)

let's just hope the unconditional DP-defenders don't add that statistic to their repertoire :D Imagine the arguments that they'd put forward

Nice thread..

Don't worry guys... we have our champions... they will have to match our performance to play the play offs ;)
Don't worry during Milan's game:
We have Gigi, best goal keeper in the world
We have Fabio-Lilian.. best centre back duo
We have Zambrotta: Best left back/wing
We have Camoranesi: Best Right wing
We have Tacchi/Emerson/blasi best midfield deffenders
We have Pavel: Best rocket shooter(right and left)/Attacking midfielder/Left wing..etc
We have Zlatan: he has skills like there is no tomorrow
We have David: Best finisher in the world
WE HAVE ALEX: ENOUGH SAID.....................................:cool::cool:

We lost against
Reggina 2-1 in the 10th week
Samp 0-1 in DA in the 22nd week
Palermo 1-0 in the 23rd week

Milan lost against
Messina in the 3rd week 1-2 in san siro
Livorno in the 20th week 1-0
Pol in the 21st week 0-1 in san siro

I don’t see any big names up there
Both juve and milan has been defeated by three different teams
juve didnt loose against any of the big teams neither Milan
So my point is Juve and Milan should be more careful against the weak teams cuz they usually know how to play against the giants
and usually they produce the best of them against Juve and the other clacio giants

Well the good news is that if everything leads up to the final matchday, Milan must overcome an Udinese team determined for third position in the standings. When Udinese has fire under its ass, it usually doesn't disappoint. That's why they are #2 on my list of favourite teams!

it's going to be tough, and a nerve-wracking couple of months.....they have an easier schedule, plus they play us @ home, which is unfortunate
