I love DC. He truly deserves this. But Jon Jones is still the GOAT imo. Everybody knows it wasn't the steroids that beat DC but the talent. If Jones outworked DC for 5 rounds, then we can make a case. But Jones had a plan and executed it perfectly and became the first fighter ever to KO DC.

Also, I don't think Jones is mentally weak. The way he came back after the hit and run incident and the way he came back in the Gustafsson fight prove it. Surely he has a poisonous camp around him though. He's doing every possible mistake off the octagon not in it.
PED's aren't solely about stamina in the ring. It has alot to do with how hard can you train and your recovery time between training sessions and fights, Jones could have theroticly trained twice as much as DC for that fight. Almost impossible to dissmiss advantages of doing PED by looking only at the fight itself.

Yeah that's one man's opinion and one article in favour of jones. First he says he never did steroids and the positive test was due to careless use of over the counter drugs. Then he says the level Jones is at he cannot be that stupid and careless to take a supplement two days before the fight because he would have known he would be caught, aka he's not an idiot and careless.

So is he careless or is he not careless? Also I'd give him the benefit of doubt if it was is one and only red flag but he's tested positive twice, shamelessly admitted to doing cocaine a week before the fight, crashed into a pregnant woman and ran away from the scene. It's not very difficult to believe a $#@! like this would do steroids.

And again, he got caught twice, sharapova used the "I was careless" excuse too when she was caught and banned for PEDs, being careless is just what cheaters say, can't expect them to come out and admit they did it unless you get cornered from all sides like Armstrong was.
I'm not arguing that Jones is or isn't deliberately doping. All I'm saying is, given that the amount found in his urine is so small that experts say it wouldn't give him a physical advantage in the fight. He defeated DC because he successfully executed the plan to exploit DC leaning habit with a head kick. It was clear before that head kick that the fight was 50-50 or even going in DC favor.

Also, in the first Jones PED case, it was proven that it was a contaminated Cialis that caused it. He was fully cleared. Contaminated supplements is one of the most common cases that USADA, a lot of fighters were flagged and cleared in the past two years. And in all these cases, the amount was too small to grant a physical advantage similar to Jon Jones latest case.

I have no scientific knowledge of how PED's work on a body tbh. I just read and listen to experts opinions on the matter, and they say the amount found in Jones' urine was too small to give him a physical advantage in the fight whatsoever. Plus, these fighters are tested out of competition many times (and given Jon Jones history, he maybe tested more than others). He cannot escape all these tests and then fail in the most important one.

The fact is he beat DC with a steroid in his system, everything that happened in the fight, the 50-50 before the head kick or the head kick was with a steroid in his system, if you think that doesn't affect his ability or the performance then you are wrong.

So DC is going to hold the entire LHW division for another year without definitely bring the belt? That's why I hate these superfights. Next week Shogun wins and takes his winning streak to 4, the longest in the division of anyone, fight winner of volkan-gustfson for the belt, retires as the LHW champ, fuck DC

I bet DC vacates the LHW title. He only wants one more fight. It will probably be the Lesnar fight and the off into the sunset for DC. Then the return of Bones Jones but to Heavyweight.

Shogun is one of my all time favorites. I'd love to see him fight for the title one more time. Gustafsson and Volkan certainly do not deserve a title shot right now.

DC just came out and said he wants to fight Shogun if he wins before he fights Lasner and retire.

This is shaping out to be perfect.

Volkan is ranked no 1 was supposed to fight Shogun, who has the current longest winning streak, gust wanted the title shot and cried and moaned his way to fight volkan and they both got greedy and accepted the fight.

DC came out and said if Shogun wins the next fight he's gonna give him the title shot, before gust or volkan started moaning again their fight gets cancelled 4 days before the event with volkan injured :lol2:

It's all happening this year, 2018 is awesome. Shogun hopefully wins this fight on Sunday and gets that title shot, retires as LHW champ and the greatest MMA fighter ever after knocking out DC :touched:

Shogun may get a title fight but not against DC.
I think it's pretty much confirmed now if Shogun wins this Sunday he fights for the title, but you're assuming Lesnar fight will happen and I can guarantee you it won't. It's all a PR stunt and there no way Lesnar is going to piss clean by Jan or ever. And after fuck ups with Bones and Lesnar (testing positive AFTER the fight) I'm sure they will avoid a lawsuit and not have it repeat again.

But if it does happen then Shogun fights gustfusson, and gets revenge!

It's been a depressing Sunday, watching Vettel crash from the lead and now this.

I hope this is his last fight.
Has to retire surely. That was just too brutal.
