We sold half a player that no one wants in the team. Next season we might sell his other half or see him return. If we sell the other half then it's fine, if he returns we'll sell him or sell a half of him again.

This doesn't make sense. Since no one wants him in the team why sell his half and keep the other half? Why would we also take him back? He doesn't add much.

Lets hope so.
I think its a good deal if you think of it this way, He goes to Fiorintina on a Co-ownership deal which might interest us in the Melo deal, and just Incase he ups his game and finds the lights again with Prandelli, we can still have him back.
Marco was capable of so much more than what he showed with us. I feel bad because he only showed his top form for us in preseason training it seems then could get nothing right during the season (especially with his injuries affecting his consistency)
I think Prandelli can get alot out of him and he could be one of their top players.
Marco isn't a bad player. He just isn't good enough for us. If he stays injury free he'll have a good season with Fiorentina... And yeah, his first touch sucks monkey balls...
Who really cares? As long as the team is successful and we have a good amount of Italians (Which we still do and probably get one more in Grosso) :flag1:
Man.. we are a club team. We can't just have mediocre italian players. To compete with the best we need to have the best players if they are italian or not..
Players like Del Piero, Chiellini and Buffon are not at Juve just cuz they are Italian... they are great players.. Marco was a good player but not a great one so it is better to get a great player like Melo
It is about making the team better not the demographics better.
