*sigh* Just what we needed. One more player injured for long-term. Why does he always have to get a serious injury? As season is going we have less and less players at disposal. We are officially fucked. After this blow, I don´t think Marchioni will be kep at the club. But the problem is who will buy him when he is made of glass? We won´t get good money for him. Hopefully Camo will be back soon and avoid further problems.

Maybe some of lads in here should blame Ranieri for this as well. He can't defend himself anyway, so why not..

Season over for Marchionni?

There are fears in the Juventus camp that midfielder Marco Marchionni’s season could be over after limping off against Inter last night.

The former Parma man had to be replaced by David Trezeguet after just seven minutes of the Coppa Italia quarter-final first leg when he pulled up and seemed to be in severe pain.

It was first suspected that the Roman winger was suffering a recurrence of a muscular strain that had sidelined him for a long period last year, but it has now emerged that he left the pitch due to a serious blow to his left foot.

The extent of Marchionni’s injury will be investigated when he reports for training today, but there are fears that he may have fractured his fifth metatarsal.

The fifth metatarsal is the outermost bone in the foot and is easily damaged but requires a long time to heal.

The recovery span for such an injury falls between two and four months, but returning to kicking a ball can be a long and painstaking process.

If the news is bad for Marchionni today it is possible that he will play no further part in the Old Lady’s season.

Now when Boumsong left us, at least Andrade will have new partner :)
How bout we play Marchionni and Andrade together in CD, they should be well acquainted with eachother:p seriously tho im not attacking Marchionni but if i were him i'd move onto a club like Udinese as it seems all he will be is bench or injured for us

I think is not onloy his season over but also his Juve's days are over, I like Marchionni, but we cant keep a player who is injured 80% odf the season.

Now is a fact that we need De Ceglie back

am i being too hopeful in thinking that this injury would spur the management into making a signing for the january window due to our lack of attacking midfield options?

A fracture?? D@mm, that was not supposed to happen right now,
Palla, Salih and Iaquinta (or maybe even Nocerino) may cover him up until Camo returns, no need to panic. Its time for our injured players to return and help us!
