I love James Richardson's words about Inter:

Inter stay among the frontrunners but with both Grosso and Adriano a-mumbling and a-grumbling on Sunday, and with leading scorer Crespo now out for a month, morale at the club remains as high as a pixie's bootlaces. Mancini's beauty sleep wasn't helped either by Marcello Lippi coyly announcing last week that he's "beginning to pine for a return to the game" - a statement soundtracked by the deafening thud of his World Cup-winner's hat landing in the ring.

One of the wittiest Italian comedians, Gene Gnocchi, wrote in his daily column for Gazzetta dello Sport, Moratti should rather now have Roberto Mancini followed by an undercover detective, as Inter's coach has been operating under a cloud of apparent indecisiveness and uncertainty for a while.

Roberto Gotta had some words too about Inter:

With the added pressure of being the 'good guys' and of trying to win the Scudetto in a season without Juventus and with Milan weighed down by the 8-point penalty Inter are again making a royal mess of it, and while their inability to win the Italian title in the last 17 years was a source of fun and jokes for a while, the whole situation has now turned nasty and positively tiresome, and if sanctions should result from the Telecom situation, put your helmets on.:D

Guys please dont be so naive.

What the hell is matter with you?

Juventus did fix matches, actually not Juve, Moggi.

Get over it.

They have proof although it is probably illegal.

But they were waiting this for years.

Dont tell me Juventus wasnt suspicious.

Something changed in year 2000 and it was obvious that referess favourize Juve.

Oh common, please, I watch Juventus from 1995 and Juventus werent the same team from 1995-2000 and 2000-2006.

Something changed, we actually played great offensive football in that 5 years(95-2000) and won everything but after 2000 we falled in form and went into a crysis.

I m sorry to say this but without referee help I think we would have 2 Scudettos less than 29, like we do now.

So what if we are in Serie B?

If CONI reduces our point penalty, I will be very satisfied.

We will be back in a year it is not the end of the world.

But at least we got rid of Giraudo and Moggi.

Why dou you think Juventus fans didnt like these two? Because they are filthy cheaters!

We have honest, clean and smart people in our Board now, and we will be a major force again.

One thing I must admit: Inter doesnt deserve our Scudetto!

What the hell, with no referee help they would have been behind us.

But not Milan, you must look truth in her eyes: Milan is stronger than us!

So keep having fun by insulting InterMerda, but please dont pretend Juventus are so poor, unhappy and unfairly treated, cause we(Moggi) cheated!

If there were evidence on juve Actually fixing games then u think it wasnt going to be used ? And how come we didnt hear anything abt this.
There was some influence by Moggi, but there wasnt an Actual match fixed.

And this after year 2000 is just rubbish. In season 2000 we were first for most of the and lost the title on the last day of the season to Lazio.

And those two scudettos r the past two that were stripped ? I dont think so, we dominated everyone, especially in the 2nd season.

We actually played bad in season 2000 we were first because of a little help from referees.

Lazio has beat us twice in that season and we lost 4:0 to Celta Vigo in UEFA Cup. Our goal difference in Serie A was 46:20.

Yeah we were really strong...:disagree:

How would you know anything about this evidences? It is classified information and you arent exactly member of FIGC!

We were dominant only in season 2004/05 I agree with that!:agree:

But in last season Milan was only three points behind us and we crapped our pants when Milan pressed us! Not to mention Milan beat the crap out of us at San Siro! 3:0 in 1st half.

Oh man, are you telling me that there was any team in Italy (or even Europe) better than Juve in 2001-02 and 2002-03 seasons? :wth:

- We made it to CL final
- kicked ass in A
- Del Piero - Trez duo was most prolific in Europe

If Milan were so superior to Juve then they should have won the scudetto last year. And don't forget Juve played without Buffon for almost half a season thanks to Kaka. And yes, that 3:1 defeat at San Siro we could only play Chimenti because we had no Buffon and Abbiaiti wouldn't play for us.

Juve won the 05-06 scudetto on the pitch. period.

Plus Nedved won the Golden Ball for that season's extraordinary performance.

Season 2001-02 we ended last in our Champions League Group Stage!

29.11.2001 Juventus-Bayer Leverkusen 4-0
04.12.2001 Arsenal-Juventus 3-1
19.02.2002 Juventus-Deportivo La Coruna 0-0
27.02.2002 Deportivo La Coruna-Juventus 2-0
12.03.2002 Bayer Leverkusen-Juventus 3-1
20.03.2002 Juventus-Arsenal 1-0

1. Deportivo
2. Bayer Leverkusen
3. Arsenal
4. Juventus 6 2 1 3 7:8 7 Pts

So we werent exactly the best in Europe!:disagree:

In Italy OK, but we had pretty good competition in Roma and Inter.

1. Juventus 34 20 11 3 64:23 71 Pts
2. Roma 34 19 13 2 58:24 70 Pts
3. Inter 34 20 9 5 62:35 69 Pts

Not so dominating... but a clear Scudetto!

Season 2002/03

OK for Italy we were really dominating!:agree:

1 Juventus 34 21 9 4 64:29 72 Pts
2 Inter 34 19 8 7 64:38 65 Pts
3 AC Milan 34 18 7 9 55:30 61 Pts
4 Lazio 34 15 15 4 57:32 60 Pts

No doubt about this Scudetto too!:agree:

But in Champions league we had really bad games!

Partita: Manchester United-Juventus 2-1
Partita: Manchester United (Inghilterra)

Arbitro: Nielsen K.M. (Danimarca)

Marcatori:
1-0 Brown 4
2-0 Van Nistelrooy 85
2-1 Nedved 90+2

Partita: Juventus-Manchester United 0-3
Partita: Manchester United (Inghilterra)

Arbitro: Merk (Germania)

Marcatori:
0-1 Giggs 15
0-2 Giggs 41
0-3 Van Nistelrooy 63

And we passed in the Quarter-Finals only because of Tudor header in 93rd minute!

Partita: Juventus-Deportivo La Coruna 3-2
Partita: Deportivo La Coruna (Spagna)

Arbitro: Frisk (Svezia)

Marcatori:
1-0 Ferrara 12
1-1 Tristan 34
1-2 Makaay 51
2-2 Trezeguet 63
3-2 Tudor 90+3

So we didnt really kicked asses, we were brave and had quite a lot of luck!

OK for Nedved ,well deserved!

People dont be angry at me, just be more realistic!

You always have some excutions, you just dont wanna admit that Juve hasnt been so innocent!

I love Juve but I am aware of some things.

OK maybe someone else deserved to be in Serie B like us, but you cannot do anything about that unless you candidate for FIGC president!

So just stop moaning and accept the truth!

And please support Juventus! They need it now more than ever!

I wouldn't say Juve are innocent. I'm just saying Juve are not the only guilty one.

And let Inter to control the decisions of who's quilty who's not and who can play CL and who should be sent down to serie B, is ridiculous!

And now it getting clear that this calciopoli thing is just one big scam to destroy Juve, they didn't have the noble thought of clearing th football leagues up.

Justice my ass!

-referees could help u to a certain limit. Not to be top and if we had help from the referees how come we played that final match in those conditions against Perugia? How come Moggi didnt use his influence to cancel the game and play in better conditions where it would've been harder to beat us.

-Neither r u in the FIGC.How do u know there were incriminating evidence of Match Fixing?

anyway we r derailing the thread. I didnt get my daily dose of Inter laughther today :(

Moratti attacks Italian media
Wednesday 4 October, 2006

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Massimo Moratti says he was satisfied after his meeting with Francesco Saverio Borrelli on Tuesday, but insists that Inter are victims of a media conspiracy.

The Nerazzurri owner was heard by the Italian Football Federation chief investigator in connection with the Telecom scandal and the accusations of former referee Massimo De Santis, who Inter allegedly ordered to tail and spy on in 2002.

"I don't really think I should comment on what we told each other, out of respect for Borrelli and his staff,” said Moratti.

“Everyone was very attentive and nice with me. I think we clarified all the important issues and I hope there will be no need for me to return for another hearing,” added the oil tycoon.

The Nerazzurri chief is convinced that those who have paid for the Calciopoli scandal are now trying to drag his club’s name through the mud and is unhappy with the media’s reporting.

“I have seen and heard so many things in the past few days,” he added. “This is unbelievable, but I will leave all the work to Borrelli.

“We have paid a very high price over the years from a sporting point of view and now we have become the target of a media system, which is managed by the same groups of power.

“I can only hope this will pass.”

Meanwhile, former Inter striker Christian Vieri – whose name was also included in the list of hundreds of phone interceptions by Telecom Italia – has confirmed that he is considering the idea of suing Moratti and his club.

“I am very disappointed,” Vieri is quoted as saying. “I gave the club five years of my life to only discover that they were spying on me.”

The FIGC will also investigate the Vieri issue in a bid to understand if there are the sufficient grounds for legal action.
