Roberto Mancini has just three matches to save his job at Inter, according to reports in Italy.

The Nerazzurri started the season with a convincing win against Fiorentina, but then fell to a shock Champions League defeat to Sporting Lisbon before a disappointing 1-1 home draw with Sampdoria.

Patron Massimo Moratti is very unpleased with the team’s performance and reports suggest that the games against Roma, Chievo and Bayern Munich will be decisive for the Coach.

Inter are already trailing Scudetto rivals Roma, who have maintained their 100 per cent record, and will face the Giallorossi on Wednesday at the Stadio Olimpico in what is already a crucial clash.

Reports in Italy suggest that the club has already written up a shortlist of potential replacements, including Sven Goran Eriksson and former bosses Marcello Lippi and Hector Cuper.

In the meantime, Mancio has to deal with Adriano’s reluctance to accept a spot on the bench, with the Brazilian keen on leaving the club in January according to recent rumours.

The striker has been snubbed in favour of a Hernan Crespo and Zlatan Ibrahimovic partnership and seems set to leave Milan, with Real Madrid his preferred destination.

In addition, Inter may consider making a new attempt to sign Gianluigi Buffon, as both Francesco Toldo and Julio Cesar are struggling to secure the No 1 jersey.

Juventus have so far resisted all overtures for the World Cup winner, but may change their mind in January if Inter were to make an adequate offer.

I'd love to see Mancini get sacked. I can't stand to see him each winter putting on that gay lip palm! It's even worse than watching Zlatan waste from 6 meters.:D

Plus, if Mancini were to be sacked it would create huge chaos in what is already a shaky club. For everything in the world I would hate to see Inter win Lo Scudetto on the pitch. And an early bomb like Mancini getting fired would certainly help Milan and Roma.

To be honest, I would love to see Mancini stay put. Just seeing him squirm like a bug stuck on a pin as the magnifying glass focuses the sun's rays on him hotter and hotter... it is the highlight of watching Serie A now. ;)

If they change Mancini, we will not hear his famous excuses after losing points.
It doesn't matter, who inter's manager is or will be;- they will always have to make excuses for inter losing points.

Lets face it Jack, not even Sven's father can win it with Inter. Inter=Trophyless since 1989, except for Coppa Italia. It's a fact.
and a scudetto thanks to Guido Rossi and his FIGC bastards

I'm very tired and depressed today, I feel like laughing and change my atmosphere, so I think I'll be looking for some Inter matches tonight.

Inter-Esting Times In Milan...

The times they are a-changing. Tom Cruise is no longer viewed as a bankable film star, but a barmy, ridiculous, power-crazed dwarf, gaffe-prone grinning media mentalist Silvio Berlusconi is not the top dog in Italian politics anymore and, as Milan fans know too well, Sheva kisses a Chelsea shirt when he scores.

However, those who view change as evil and nasty need not worry, because one thing in calcio rarely alters - Internazionale being a big, expensive joke:D . That's right, we are only two weeks into the season and the famous club are already at boiling point, with tempers frayed, unhappy players, a snappy coach and a tough encounter against their main title rivals days away.

It all started so brightly for Paul Ince's former team as they were assigned the last scudetto in light of Juve's foul play, and bought in the usual slew of high-profile new recruits over the summer. To make it look even rosier in the Nerazzurri garden, their deadly city rivals AC Milan were slapped with a minus eight-point handicap for their part in the calciopoli mess before a ball was even kicked. But this being Inter, things then went a bit wonky.

The opening game of the season was a nervy win in Florence, followed by a tepid showing and defeat in the Champions League. On Saturday night they could only draw at home to Sampdoria, and the team looked unbalanced and confused. The new formation baffled everyone, and Adriano, in a funny mood (and in terrible form for what seems like a lifetime now) was stuffed on the subs bench.

After the poorly-received 1-1 result against Samp, tetchy coach Roberto Mancini had a go at journalists, and Monday morning's papers carried a very amusing photo of big Adriano yawning on the bench next to another discontented star, Italian Euro 2000 hero Francesco Toldo. The two players are understandably miffed at being turned into scapegoats for their club's problems and being forced to watch from the sidelines.

AC Milan's fantastic start has also soured the mood for the blue-and-black half of the city. Kaka and co have already reduced their scandal-enforced points deficit to minus two with consecutive victories, and are one win away from being 'in credit'.

And if that weren't enough, Inter travel to Rome on Wednesday to play the dashing leaders of Serie A, those masters of total football and wonderfully over-the-top celebrations, AS Roma. Despite being only the third fixture of the fledgling campaign, this has the makings of a scudetto decider and should be a special match. If you are at a loose end midweek (and can find the game), tune in to see how brilliant Spalletti's capital side is.

Chilean midfield magician David Pizarro, currently wowing the folks of the eternal city, will come face to face with his old club, as will Olly Dacourt, who went the opposite way and swapped Roman life for a taste of Milan.

If there were ever a time for Mancini to get his ideas in order and field a team which makes sense, it is now. With his job reportedly on the line it's time to stop fiddling around with diamonds in the midfield, put an end to Zlatan Ibrahimovic roving around like a lone wolf who never scores and maybe even drop an ageing Javier Zanetti, who is increasingly addicted to holding onto the ball for far too long when he trundles forward. The chances of that happening are slim - 'Pupi' Zanetti is a Shearer-esque figure, the much-loved, long-serving captain and therefore untouchable.

Mancini could even give World Cup hero Fabio Grosso a game. The full-back has yet to cement his place in the team, but deserves a chance to remind us of those raiding runs which helped the Azzurri win in Germany. Watching him warm up on the touchline in his substitute's bib while the solid, methodical Pupi bustles around is a bit of a sad sight.

For those interested in Serie B, the sleeping giants Napoli lost at Piacenza, ironically thanks to goals from two Naples-born players, whilst the cheating giants :p Juventus triumphed at home to Vicenza by dint of a David Trezueget flying volley and an Alex Del Piero free-kick. The Zebras are now at minus thirteen in the table.

Whether Trezagol will be around after the January transfer window remains to be seen, but he certainly did his bit on Sunday, and dedicated his snazzy goal to his mum who was in the crowd. What a nice guy. How Adriano would love to make the same gesture on Wednesday. But the chances are that he will instead be sitting next to his old ma in the stands.:lol2:
