Or buy Boumsong and you get both Zebina and Legrotaglie for free. :D

Can we field him for the other team? :pumpkin:
Only Moggi can do. I miss him.

He already helps every team we play for so it makes no difference whether he is with us or with them...:D
Nope, in this case, he'd help us when he plays for the other team. :pumpkin:

Don't pick on him, mate. He is just trying to do his best. :D
It's too bad that his "work" seems to be to escorting the ball into our own net :moan: ...its a damn shame that we have to see him running around in our beloved black and white everyday. You know if we give him to ManU for free they may actually agree to have a serious discussion with us about a possible C. Ronaldo swoop

    :sigh:

You guys are mercyless. How can you feel so good thrashing him when he is Juventus player after all? Many of you put all the guilt on his back while you forget to see the obvious fact that Birindelli is not better than him and Kovač is far worse than him. And you call yourselves Juventus fans.... :disagree:

    Boumsong hails English model

Juventus defender Jean-Alain Boumsong is firmly convinced that the English model is the one to follow to end football violence.

All football in Italy was suspended indefinitely on Friday evening following the death of a policeman outside Catania’s stadium after their 2-1 loss to Palermo, and the FIGC should decide on Monday when the championship will resume.

I do not think that the existing sanctions are a deterrent,” said Boumsong in an interview with French television program Stade 2.

Stopping football is OK, but if it’s just a symbolic gesture it won’t be useful,” added the Bianconero.

Something tangible is needed and we must talk about it, like we did in France following the death of the Paris Saint-Germain fan.”

The former Newcastle United man also attacked the racist chants he must hear during every match, something that did not happen in the Premiership.

In every game away from the Stadio Olimpico they sing these kind of chants. I played in England and this never happens there. The model to follow is the English one."

Overall 29 persons were arrested over the weekend, including the son of a policeman, as confirmed by Catania magistrates.

Reports suggest that Monday’s meeting between the Government and football authorities will decree that the rest of the season is to be played behind closed doors.

Boumsong has the potential to be a good defender, he has all the pysical attributes required, all he lacks is the ability to concentrate for a whole game.

Little by little, the crisis in defence is easing up. The injuries worries which blighted the plans of Didier Deschamps over the first half of the season are luckily becoming a thing of the past. Kovac aside – who recently underwent surgery on his ankle – the treatment table is now a distant memory for the other sidelined players.

Giorgio Chiellini and Nicola Legrottaglie made their come backs against Vicenza and now it’s Jean Alain Boumsong who’s preparing himself for a return to action. As announced by Dr Agricola at the beginning of the week, the Frenchman is back training with the rest of the squad: “That’s right, I feel fine again now. The injury I picked up in Milan is behind me and this week I’ve been able to do everything my team mates have done in training – I hope to return to action soon. Injuries aside, I’m settling in more and more, I like Turin and I hope to be here for a long time”.

Boum Boum :D has good memories of Crotone, having scored an important goal there earlier this season: “I remember it well, but winning the game was most satisfying. It was a tough game, just as they all are. This is a good championship, but we want to do all we can to win and to get back into Serie A as soon as possible”.

In the forty days he’s been sidelined, a lot has happened and a lot has been said, in particular the criticisms levelled at the defence. Boumsong is with his team mates: “When things aren’t going well, it’s easy to point the finger at the defence. That’s football, but we all know it’s eleven players who win or lose out there”.
