Seems Torino registered their contract with Lega Calcio earlier.

Lol, some more love to share with the Granata

they can register what they want, the player didn't sign anything with Livorno.

The numbers could be 0.7m for the loan and 1.5m to buy back ½ of the player.

He could pick jersey #15. Marchisio?

Guess it confirms that there is zero chance we will go for a starter Quality CB. But nontheless, he will probably be good, a big welcome to Dario :)

«Con lui, e il recupero di Andrade, la difesa è a posto. Stiamo cercando un centrocampista, poi il nostro mercato sarà chiuso».

"With him and the recovery of Andrade our Defence is complete. We are searching a midfielder, then our market will be closed."

Interesting.

I read many articles in newspapers and internet portals about him and lot of players and coaches rate him highly. Amelia said last year that he will be best CB in seria A for year or two, Baresi told before Euro that Knezevic is great player that deserve to play for mutch better club then Livorno and here he is in biggest.

Interesting thing I read somewhere that , when Italy played Croatia 0:1 he was guarding Lucarelli, who after the game said to his boss that he never played against better defender and that they must buy him.

Dario stresses Juve affection
Monday 30 June, 2008

Juventus new boy Dario Knezevic has reassured the Old Lady’s followers that he only ever had eyes for the Bianconeri.

There was controversy in Turin after Croatian star Knezevic appeared to have agreed to sign for Torino before joining their more illustrious city rivals.

While the Granata are still seething and considering filing a complaint with the Lega Calcio, the player himself is adamant that he is proud to have chosen Juve.

“Since I was a child I wanted to play for a good team,” Knezevic said at his unveiling.

“I have chosen Juventus and I think that I have done well. I respect Torino, but I have opted to play for the Old Lady and I never had any doubts.

“Am I scared of competition? I have no fear and I can do well here. My idol is Robert Kovac and to play alongside Alessandro Del Piero and David Trezeguet is a dream.

“Last year Juve scored eight goals against us in two games – it wasn’t a great year for me at Livorno.”

Knezevic came through the medical despite a knee injury that ended his participation at Euro 2008.

“The medical tests were positive,” Juve doctor Riccardo Agricola revealed.

“There was evidence of damage to a bone in his knee, but it will just require 30 to 35 days to heal. By the end of July he will be able to train with the rest of the players.”

Welcome Dario,

it seems he is highly regarded by those who have played with and against him. He may not be the most glamorous signing but who cares, he will provide good depth and with him only being on loan, i'm sure he will be doing everything possible to prove himself to earn a permanent transfer.

Well I must admit I had hoped for something more, but now he's here let's hope he does a Iaquinta or Sissoko. Welcome Dario!

He does. There are only few modern defenders who like to slide a lot these days. The trend is more to get the ball rather than pushing it away from the attacker.

I personally love a nice sliding tackle. Used to do it for hours on the muddy training fields. It's probably not the best option in terms of building up, but it's nice to watch and fun to do too!
