As for gaining results, I look at the performance, and if you think these types of performances will get us results over the long run, you're sorely mistaken. We played very poor football and a marginally better team would have made us pay on numerous occassions.
then you better watch the last few seasons when inter played crap (not that bad like us, but still bad) and always got bailed out by ibrahimovic.

in this dire situation we are in, there is better you can do but moan and moan and moan. we did win the last two games, didn't we ? so after making that turn around of the ciro-era we are already in the position to demand good football ... right after two games of winning ? if you think things can work that fast, you are totally wrong. everything takes time and even the magical hiddink would not have made us look much better today (after the few days in charge).

what we saw was an improvement of fitness-level not only by del piero but also by others that before did already nearly breakdown stamina-wise after 70 minutes.

He wanted to defend the lead, fine, I can understand that, but there are wiser tactical moves he could have made.
if you know these wiser tactical moves, i wonder why you do sit in front of a computer and some retard that actually has not had a coaching job in years did get this job. i mean, according to cronios logic the board searched only for a cheap scapegoat and you would be much cheaper.

i hate it when people think their really simple logic would change games.
it's like saying "no i bring giovinco on and then we will score another two goals". if football was as simply as playing the right cards which always result in the same outcome i wonder why these coaches get paid so much. don't you think there were enough unexperienced coaches that thought the exact thinks that you think of speaking of "wise moves" and that any half decent coach with a bit more of experience has at least 10 counter moves against your simple-mans-football-logic.

and we did not even speak about how much knowledge you actually have gathered by training any of our players .. none ? say what ! but still you have wiser moves than someone that is around the players 7 days a week.

honestly one can NOT be so retarded and do the wrong tactical moves, when they are so obvious (even to the not coaching) football fan mind...
so either you think 80% of the coaches are just plain stupid (because i hear these "the fan knows the best tactics" all the time) or perhaps there is more to tactics than is obvious to the average fan...

After that sub, all we did was continually clear the ball back to the other team (which we did all game to a lesser degree).
if we did this all game, how was it the wrong tactical moves fault ?

We let them throw the kitchen sink at us and hoped to not concede, letting them take shots and send numerous crosses in. The smaller amount of chances we let them create, the less likely they will score, and you achieve that by continuing to play football which we stopped doing for the last 20 minutes.
so do you actually think zacch said "ok, boys ... enough with the running today ... you did enough. you can stop playing football now".
you do not really think that it is simple as that, do you ?

It's not as if our ability to shut down games has proven itself this season, as we have conceded a lot of late goals. A smart team would have passed the ball around to waste time and kill the tempo instead of filling our half with bodies.
so what is this smart team you are talking about ? perhaps we saw another game, but how the hell will you even play around killing the tempo, when the opponent puts pressure on you even deep in your own half ? its not like they let us pass the ball around in our own box. they already pressured us at our own penalty box.

no way you simple play around back there... not with these players ... and i can tell you exactly what would have happend .. player one plays a inacurate pass so the receiving player of us has to run to get that ball before the opponent (remember we are in our own half), he gets it even more inacurate (because he had to run) to the next player until one of your players does not reach it and then you have lost possession perhaps 30 metres in front of your own goal with your own players running up the field (away from the own goal) and the opponent has enough space to counter easily. that is a great tactic ... better NOT play the ball far away from the own goal .... our backline of xavi & co can easily pass the ball acurately under pressure ...

2 wins and 2 draws is certainly an improvement after the Ciro era. I disagree with Zacc's use of the 3-4-1-2 and some of his substitutions are mind boggling but I am glad to see the team picking up results again.

Zacc is not a top coach and our retarded board had better not be considering keeping him for next season but our squad is second to Inter only in the Serie A so even a mediocre coach should be able to get us 4th.

What else is Diego going to say? That we played like rubbish and we need to improve? Of course he won't say that after we win.

We played like shit yesterday and the tactics were off. Any neutral spectator could see that. Folks here who either don't see that, or choose not to, are just trying to be pests. Try to look at the game objectively while being happy with the points.

But don't forget Zac is on the bench, and we're only sitting infront of a computer screen Andy.

I'd give him some credit if we actually looked better out there. We can just hope this raises confidence and make our players perform better individually, as confidence can go a long way after such a bad run. Let's hope this gives us some momentum.

just saw the highlights of the game because i missed the live match...Ajax dominated the whole match while we had nothing going on...

if Ajax play like they did when they come to Turin and Juve plays like crap...doesn't like good for Juve

I don't expect good performances from this team right now to be honest, but he has two wins and two draws and it is a step in the right direction, performances will improve with confidence.

Actually he did that in a statement before the game :eyebrows:
are you able to use your filthy fingers to click the mouse on the link i provided ?

how can he give that interview before the game and say that amauri did well to score those two goals, when the game was not already played ?

another interesting and sensible post ... you watched the highlights (which consist of a maximum of 10 minutes) and know by that how they dominated all the time ?

no they did not dominate us all the time. we had some nice build up play here and there ... i think we achieved accumulated 15 - 20 minutes of solid play (after they scored)where we let them run and played the ball fine in our own lines.

Another nice bit of optimism. We had nothing, apart from the two goals to their one. We didn't need to do anything after that. Whether you think we should keep attacking for the rest of the game is another matter.

The reason we didn´t play well is that Sisoko played the worse game since he is in Juventus, he could not get tha ball. And he is a key player in our team. Diego was not great either.

I wasn't talking about this interview smarty, he made one on wednesday where he said that this team has the resources to win the Ajax game and go far in this championship, and here's the link so you can click on the mouse with those filthy fingers of yours:
