B the entire place is filled with ignorance we dont know much about any other nation beyond sudan!!! my parents tell me it was'nt like this before. back in the day we got coverage of everything mainly bec during the nasser era we were heavily involved with all the african moves for independence but soon after we got sucked into the war with isreal and the arab problem. sadly these days we got our priorties all jumbled up we no longer play the expected role with the arabs, nor do we try with the africans hence we have issues with ethopia over water which is not only sad its catastrophic specially when u look at the map and see where egyptains live we love the nile soo much we buld cities around it even if it means being stuck in a very small patch of land.
as for the elections they did'nt get to the same level of iran thats for sure they had the measures for such events B so every thing was kept under the lid. the difference between here and iran and hoori can correct me if i'm wrong is in iran they r put under forced control i,e there press has a limit over here they insult the president ( they let u get away with this bec it will let the people vent some steam picture a pressure cooker thats how it works here) but according to a lot of analyst's we r going thru a very tough time in our history and whats next is only going to get worse.

as for the shark attacks they were mainly on russian tourists and apparently they were very close to the shore. i know SA is a spot for shark attacks and u guys dont have any shark u have the GREAT WHITE the best killer in the world!!! but at least u guys try to study it so u can understand how to solve the problem here they are going with lets kill them all even though we r the ones intruding there habitat ( talk about ignorance!!) here we have white tip sharks ( if u r bitten 90% its this breed) lemon sharks have been seen here too in 2006 its been said there was a great white attack on a tourist but i honestly can confirm it bec i dont think great whites come all the way to the red sea unless its a mistake or sth.
the media here are having a frenzy with it to be honest and i would'nt be surprised if its only a smoke screen for people to swallow after the elections i mean they show footage of great white sharks taken from animal planet and play it as the shark that attacked the tourists!! bec not every one knows a lot about sharks so in the end they will buy it nah no brits where harmed this time around its the russains who toke all the attacks. brits go to hurgadah the most russians this time of the year take over red sea resorts.

I see but how did the public react to the elections? What did the opposition parties have to say, did they not react angrily & demand a recount?
As for our president he actually has surprised me with his new form of government, he has made some impressive moves to stamp out corruption & under performing government officials but education & medium of instruction still hasn't been fully addressed.We have eleven official languages here & that's why there's a huge problem with the delivery of education. That said, i know government officials get up to rubbish with sex workers but has any presidential candidate ever been elected president when the public knew full well about his perverted private life? NO, ONLY IN AFRICA.
Sp what happened to those tourists in the end? The people that wanna kill the sharks only want to sell the flesh & fins to the chinks, that's all.
