2 more years after this one at 4.25m. Doesn't help the PP, horrible defensively, less cash for Price, Subban, Gorges, Markov M.I.A, Gomez contract, McDonagh not here, mummies behind the bench and upstairs, the list goes on and on...

Kaberle isn't that bad. The contract is shitty and Spacek is a tad more sound defensively, I'd say. However, I think Montreal got the better end of this deal, and Kaberle isn't injury-prone (touch wood). You've got a pretty good defensive defenceman in Campoli coming back soon, so maybe they'll be thrown together.

It's hardly the worst thing that could've happened. Now if you could only get rid of Gomez...

Campoli IN, Emelin OUT!

Thanks Martin! :sergio: Only guy on D that hits is now in the stands. His excuse? He didn't play well vs NJ. You played him on his wrong side dummy!!! I bad game can happen.

I sure hope Kaberle doesn't help the Habs tonight with his attacking capabilities.

Oh, would you look at that! Another assist. :p

Kabby's a bit of a marshmallow... good passer though, solid vision. When the playoffs started, the tempo went up, the forecheck got tighter, and he struggled; the intensity was missing a little too often, and he was a bit of a liability for Boston's defense, really. He did lead the defense in scoring during the playoffs (11 pts?)and he wasn't playing well, I think everyone realizes he's capable of putting up some good assist totals. Not a great release though... doesn't shoot enough either. I wasn't sad to see the Bruins let him go - and Corvo has played a better all around game. I think he'll help short term, but that contract is dirty, for a team with so much money already tied up in sour contracts. Maybe he'll elevate his game in Montreal... that's a great stage.

Looking forward to Bruins vs Sens tonight. I'm feeling like Seguin is due.

I feel bad for this Cunneyworth guy. Quebecois Habs fans want the fucking sun and the moon.
They would settle for a chunk of an asteroid if it had a french last name.

Because you know, Scotty Bowman was such a terrible coach for them.

Wait. No.

Oh, yeah. Toe Blake. He fucking sucked, for sure.

No. hold on. No he didn't.

Try harder, my fellow Habs fans who are just a wee bit in the delusional side. (About 95% of them).
