Kabby's a bit of a marshmallow... good passer though, solid vision. When the playoffs started, the tempo went up, the forecheck got tighter, and he struggled; the intensity was missing a little too often, and he was a bit of a liability for Boston's defense, really. He did lead the defense in scoring during the playoffs (11 pts?)and he wasn't playing well, I think everyone realizes he's capable of putting up some good assist totals. Not a great release though... doesn't shoot enough either. I wasn't sad to see the Bruins let him go - and Corvo has played a better all around game. I think he'll help short term, but that contract is dirty, for a team with so much money already tied up in sour contracts. Maybe he'll elevate his game in Montreal... that's a great stage.
Looking forward to Bruins vs Sens tonight. I'm feeling like Seguin is due.
