That is my point. Someone of his size, who is fully cognizant of his size, doesn't need to use his arm on a check like that
But you're basically saying that he should tone down his play against the smaller guys. If I understand you correctly, that is. And in that case I wouldn't agree.

That is not what I'm saying. I'm not saying that he should tone it down.

Look if you were 6'9" and at least 6-7 inches taller, and much bigger than everyone else on the ice, with his speed, do you honestly think that you need to use your arm like that?

The question is this. Does he really need to use his arm when delivering a check like that? He's huge, and skilled, and fast. He is already blessed with a freakish combination of size, speed, and skill. Using your arm in that case is not necessary in general, and specifically on that play

I think this would be a good crowd to get shitfaced with, and watch some intense playoff hockey. I have a feeling these teams are going to be getting real intimate in a few weeks time.

And there's always Leafs Material. ;)

    Sorry Max. :D
Ah you bitches, if that's what makes you boys kiss and make up, whatevs...

To do what he did, which was usher him into the stanchion, yes, he needed to use his arms like that. Otherwise he wouldn't have been able to do it, which is what both you and I are arguing. I was just making the point that Chara is going to do what he's going to do no matter his opponent, even if that means busting someone's spleen open.

Aight, gametime coming up. Need to get the tacos ready to go. Pass me the Corona with lime, Serge.

Did I just hear mike milbury correctly when he implied that pacioretty was stupid for being up against the board with 11 seconds left in the 2nd period? Did I just hear that?

Before the injury there was a Boston TV commentator saying how Pacio was a cocky guy and will have his head taken off. Next game...

He's an idiot anyway. Him and his little muppet Pierre. These guys are some of the worst commentators I've ever seen.

even the Bruins Zamboni guys wanted to pick a fight with us in the morning skate because PLeks skated while they were nsurfacing the ice. He always does that.
They didn't want to take out the nets.
