I thought they were playing in Canada then I saw Buffalo. Pathetic that Poker and Canine shows are more popular over there.

Were there more Swedish fans than Canadian fans over there?
These Swedish fans were coming down the escalator after the game and there was this sea of red below. They were singing some song and all the Canadians were just shaking their head/booing. It was totally classless. You're not entitled to victory, so eat humble pie bitch.

I've been a bit disappointed with Canadian fans as of late, especially with the criticism (of the Canadian team) and heckling (of the opponents) from 45 year-old pot-bellied men. They're just fucking kids. Go do something with your life.

They deserved it. Those kids are cocky as hell and they buy into the hype TSN throws at them each year. Why does everyone in this country pay so much attention to this shit? No one else cares.

Meh, they convincingly put the States back in their place at least.
TSN is the hype machine, buddy... you said it. Waaaaay overdone.

To be honest, I thought we were going to finish 3rd or 4th pre-tournament...

That is true. I don't think we played well from what I heard.

But that's all right. At least we'll qualify from CONCACAF.
Your guys just didn't show up that night... it happens. Not a true representation of the USA's quality. Your goalie was awesome.

No doubt about CONCACAF... :sergio:

Agreed. I obviously wasn't at any of the jr games, but I'm familiar with this attitude and frankly, it's pathetic.

Tomas Tatar has been looking pretty good for us thus far, I got to see his debut at the Joe the other day. Another rookie Mursak is definitely one speedy motherfucker, probably another Helm but hopefully can score more goals.

Jesus Christ, the Leafs are unbeaten on their road trip! Plan the parade! The line with Clarke MacArthur, Nikolai Kulemin, and Mikhail Grabovski is known as "Mac in the USSR". :howler:

    Oh, Toronto media...

    Break out the bubbly!

To be honest, this team has some legitimate complimentary pieces. They're dying for top end quality though. I have no idea how Kessel's an allstar this year.

    Reimer's playing pretty well...

Man do I ever love watching Bergy, Krejci and Seguin tear up the Sens!

    Beautiful...

6-0! If only they had Rask in net, I would've had the shutout points for the pool. Sens are helpless, just like the Leafs. Honestly, if one player from the Leafs had to be an all-star, then I'd choose Grabovski.
