I think it's time Lamoriello steps down as GM. He's not the same anymore after giving that contract to Kovalchuk. It's unlike him to do that since he always had a hierarchy in the club. Their policy was nobody gets more than Brodeur. This time Parise should be the guy on top and the rest get less than him. Lemaire and Tremblay last year gave a list of what needed to be addressed for the new season but Lamoriello didn't do anything but put them in cap tied land. Sorry Lou but it's time to go. MacLean didn't stand a chance to stay there.

Back in the day, goalies had #1 and their backup #30. Skaters had #2-29. Later the rosters got shorter and they got rid of numbers by positions so anybody could take any numbers but most goalies stick to the tradition. Only a few have other numbers like Lalime(40), Théodore(60)...

They deserved it. Those kids are cocky as hell and they buy into the hype TSN throws at them each year. Why does everyone in this country pay so much attention to this shit? No one else cares.
