The Habs defense is getting pretty old. That really needs to be addressed. Most of the crew is 35 or 36.

But yeah, they could use a guy like Giroux for sure. Doubt Philly will move him though.

Yes, this should be priority. Subban will be coming up most definitely, but they're still stuck with a lot of old skin. They signed Spacek for 3 years at the beginning of this season, while Hamrlik and Gill both have another year.

I know they got rid of McDonaugh in some trade, but I'm sure they can grab another hot defensive prospect this season. Maybe they should look at some of the undrafted kids in the American college hockey leagues as well?

We are doing better physically tonight but it appears to be coming at the expense of our puck possession. We don't look capable at all of scoring, and that has me worried.

They keep packing the crease and holding up well at the blue line when we're trying to rush in, and since we don't like dump and chase we're having trouble getting time in their zone. We have to find a better way of getting the puck deep.
