Well, another loss against the Blues. Not a good start to the season.

But this is probably a good thing. Once we get back on US soil, watch the fuck out.

    Not happy though.

Just finished watching the habs on Hockey night in Canada, currently watching USC-California on ESPN 360 on my computer, and I've just switched to Dodgers-Rockies on MLB TV

Cal was getting raped last time I saw.

Nothing like a Saturday night filled with hockey and football. This is why I love the fall.

One of my favorite hits ever. Very effective and a great end result against a player and team I can't stand.

    Sloppy seconds !!

Here's one of the hardest hits back in the days. Not as spectacular as todays hits because those guys were slower and sh*t but still he rocked him.

Luongo and his Canucks are getting owned thus far this year. He really is playing rather poorly, and tonight is no exception against the Jackets, getting pulled after 4-1 for Raycroft. The Sedin brothers are missing chances again as well.

Nash is lighting up the scoresheet again with three assists.

    Rumour alert!

Habs close to sign UFA Marc-André Bergeron. We really needed another D after Markov and O'Byrne's injuries. Bergeron has a great slap shot so he could help on the PP. Defensively he's a liability. He's free and if they pay him 0.5/0.7m for one year I won't complain. I've been told he's at the medical stage and if he passes it we'll sign him. Don't know if the source is reliable though.

We called up Y. Weber who's probably in the same mold as him but we also need another D so that's why we might sign Bergeron as a 6-7th D-man. We also have a guy named Carle who could have done the job but I guess the club doesn't think he can. Subban is not NHL ready but this kid will be great in the future.

What's the story with Howard's equipment Andy?

I haven't heard anything about Howard's equipment. But he let in two easy goals on Saturday, and now there is talk that Babcock will have to find somebody else.

Perhaps taking a chance on Howard wasn't a good idea for the fantasy team, but he should do better. He was good in preseason.
