    Yeah he is.

Zetterberg though, I love him. Especially his hot girlfriend Emma Andersson. She left her famous life here in Sweden to become a housewife somewhere in Michigan.

Hottie indeed. And I know where in Michigan, too. ;)

Damn, Montreal is the third richest club in hockey?

    Wow...

    :shifty:
Why do you find that so hard to believe?

They have the largest arena in the NHL, (21,700 seat capacity), that is sold out every game, plus the arena itself cost almost 300 million to build.

Also keep in mind that the fanbase, (Myself and Mark Included) buy everything under the sun that has the Canadiens Logo on it. And we are international

    Except for Toilet Paper.

For that I use Boston Bruins 2-ply quilted brand.

Oh, I know all of that. But I was pondering something else, not what you mentioned.

Andy, if you ever get a chance to go up to the Bell Centre to watch a game, don't pass it up. Its an experience you will never forget.

Just imagine yourself, with all the passion and knowledge of hockey that you have, and multiply it by 21,173.

    Am I right, Mark?

Yep, I've always been impressed with their fans at the rink. Some of the best.

How much of that money goes to Liverpool??

    Wait. Never Mind.

That's right, George Gillette doesn't own them anymore
It's just that, for as long as I can remember, they have been so disappointing since that Cup in '93. They should be doing much, much better.

But I know you know that.

The fans are the fucking best, dude. Especially the 19 year old girls who wear cut off t-shirts in the middle of march at 5 below zero.

2 things keep holding the Canadiens back when it comes to Free Agency.

#1) The ridculous income taxes that have to be paid in Quebec.

#2) The fans and the media. Trust me, you've never seen anything like it. It has literally scared players away from coming to Montreal

That's why you guys should target more non-French speakers.

Yeah, but I think that was a good trade for her. Zetterberg just signed a nice contract with you guys, 10 years or something like that, so she'll be living the good life over there.
I doubt she likes the city though, but too bad for her.

Although I'm sure she shops at one of the top three malls in America in the suburbs. The beautiful Somerset Collection.

    it doesn't matter.

They've tried. It's actually worse for non-francophones, especially if they refuse to speak or learn french.

Koivu got raked over the coals because he didn't speak french. One of the most wonderful captains in Habs history got treated like a second class citizen by the extremely vocal minority because he didn't speak french.

Well, that's no excuse, really. Since it's the fans who do that, they hurt their own club. It's like the morons who yell out monkey chants throughout stadiums in Italy.

It's not like being passionate and sensible at the same time is some sort of anomaly. Being proud about one's heritage and a complete asshole do not go hand-in-hand. Or at least shouldn't.
