Good question. The transfer of the powers could take a couple of months or more so you can consider it Gillett's money but it doesn't matter since both Gillett and the Molson's agree we should be at the MAX of the Cap.

Good thing they sell out every night and have the highest attendance average in the league, then.

Let Hal fucking go. That man almost managed to single handedly gift that series to the caps in game 6. As a Bruins fan, I've seen a shit ton of Hal. The Pens need to let him go... so slow, and getting clumsier by the day...

Has always seemed like a good character guy though.

"After much discussion and thought, Mike Komisarek has decided to enter the
Free Agent market tomorrow at noon. Should they desire, we intend to keep
Montreal involved in the process as they have treated Mike so well during
his time in the organization. He remains interested in resigning with them."

Matt Keator, Agent for Mike Komisarek

Something obviously happened, but I'm not sure what it was. Brian Burke has a tendency for shooting his mouth off, so you never know with him.

If you want some good Hockey talk, I suggest you go to Hockey's Future. Great website, and the Forums are really cool as well. Especially if you want to stay up to date on prospects

Thanks for the website Sergio, looks like a good one..

His size and character are great, but I don't see us keeping him either especially if we have to choose between him and Scuderi. Also with Letang and Gogolowski (i messed it up) we probably don't need him.

11 points in 70 games, and he's going to test free agency? Really???

OK, Mike. Good Luck, wherever you go

Dammit. If Komisarek leaves, then who will Lucic pound into the ice when Boston plays Montreal?

Dammit. C'mon Bob... make an 'investment' and offer him 10 years at 6M a pop... :xfinger: :p

In all seriousness, what's this guy worth to you boys? 3.5M?

Yeah, you guys need to lock down Scuderi. Letang is definitely a keeper, and Goligoski is one for the future. I didn't watch the Pens much this year, but he certainly can put some points on the board... but I gather he's still pretty suspect at the back...

That being said, you'd love to see him in a Bruins uniform

He's a bit above average, but I honestly cannot fucking stand the player. Lucic is my favorite player, and I relish the fights between these two.

How much would you be willing to pay for him, Sergio?

Oooh boy. TSN is reporting it, so I'd trust that all the way. Those guys have the NHL rumor mill on lock down.

That is a FAT contract Gomez has...

"On July 1, 2007, Gomez signed a $51.5 million, seven-year contract with the New York Rangers." - WIKI
