It doesn't really matter anyways because the Wings will still win, home ice or not.
I believe in my team, that's for sure. The main facets going our way is that our best players are on fire right now and Osgood is absolutely spectacular. In the past three years or so, we never had the two coincide. It was either Datsyuk being quiet and Hasek being stellar, or another goalie being truly weak, like Joseph. But right now we are on top of our game, plus all our lines are scoring goals, even the fourth consisting of Helm - Hudler - McCarty. We have got to win this.

The funny thing is, we only have three players who have a negative +-, the worst being Kris Draper at -3, which is like the strangest thing ever. Drapes' line is our second best defensive line to Datsyuk's, which is also funny because the latter leads the NHL in steals this year. Pavel is AMAZING in all facets of the game, especially puck handling, passing and stealing the puck.

I honestly cannot think of anything in our game that needs to improve. This is fucking sick.

I can, your players can have less teeth. At a staggering average of 28 teeth per player, you rank 31st is least amount of teeth. Andrew, don't be so short-sighted.
    :lol2:

Actually, I can think of a number of teams that lack teeth. You guys should see the St. Louis Blues. They make England look like Dental School.

I totally agree with you here, but I think next season will be a bit different (aging blueline very worrysome). The Wings have got to pick up one or two solid defencemen come the off-season. Can I interest you in McCabe? :howler:

Uhhh... McCabe used to be actually alright in my opinion. Not sure about him now. :shifty:

But yeah, Chelios will have another year of his tasty chilli in him, Stuart isn't too young either. But then again, Lidstrom, Rafalski and especially Kronwall and Lebda still have more years in them. Lebda could grow to be a very good defenseman after working with one of the best in Chelios. That's the great thing about our team, the fact we have such a great mix of youth and experience. Kronwall reminds me of a younger Chelios with speed like it isn't even funny.

If we just have to find another defenseman and a couple forwards, the future is still bright. Holland is perhaps the best GM in hockey so we know he'll work magic like usual.

This is a good blooper reel from about a year ago. There's tons more though: he must have scored on his own net like three or four times this past season alone.

Don't be to cocky, if turco can somehow play the way he did against the sharks we can get back in this series. Until you win 4 games, the series ain't over.

Oh yeah, real classy there Ott, holding down Holmstrom and then cross checking him in the nose at the end of the game. Thanks guys.

But congrats, Dallas fans. I think your side is full of morons, such as Ott and Ribeiro, and that you still don't have a chance. It's pretty obvious your life in this series was saved by the refs disallowing our GOOD Datsyuk goal that would have made it 1-0 and effectively put it all away because we never lose when we get the first goal.

Luck, calls and morons (besides Modano) is what the Dallas Stars are about. Why don't you guys just charge at us, slam your own heads into the boards missing the check and not get a penalty for it.

Even the Stars have scored TWICE thus far with people inside the crease, so please don't tell me this isn't bullshit.

Modano is pure class. Too bad the Red Wings are going to end up in the finals. Hopefully the Pens can pull off the sweep tonight.
