Yeah, he's 28. For some reason I still consider the likes of Zetterberg to be "younger" players. Perhaps it's because Chelios is 46. :lol2:
Hehe yeah, me too. Forsberg, Sundin, Alfredsson, Näslund and all these guys have been here since the early 90's. For me, Zetterberg is still the "next generation" of great Swedish hockey players.

It seems hockey players can go on longer than footballers, for some reason.

its a good thing montreal traded away huet for a draft pick at the trade deadline, it's not like they had goaltending troubles in the playoffs....

The Flyers are a bunch of douchebags. Go Pens. I would love to see us play them because they actually have SKILL.

Indeed, for some reason. Not sure why, but perhaps it's because of the stamina thing.

Mark sorry for Habs, but it looks like Price was really bad in these series vs Flyers.

But Philly played really strong with a lot of heart and determination,i think they deserve the credit.

They were the worst team in the league last year!
this year they got to the Conf.Finals.
    Nice job i say.

what a crazy game 6. 61 saves by turco. Its funny how 2 years ago people said he wasn't "playoff" material, and now he's the reason we're in the conference finals. The wings are the better team and should be favoured, but they haven't really been tested yet in the playoffs. We've knocked out 2 real cup contenders, while the wings played nashville and an injury hit colorado. It's a great rivalry and this series will live up to expectations. Stars in 7.

    Well well...

    My predictions:

    EAST:

    Pens-Flyers

i'm not so sure about the Pens though...many pick them because they are so talented and all...but Flyers always fight them hard,Biron is their MVP standing on his head these playoffs,i do believe they can knock the pens out.
in the regular season they won 5 from 8 games...
all the playoff i predicted against Philly and was wrong,i hope they'll make it again,so i'll pick against them again.
    Penguins in 7.

    WEST:

    Red wings-Stars

I'm sure this is gonna be a great series, with Dallas probably giving more hard time than Nashville and the Avs did,but still i think we'll(wings:)) take this one.:xfinger:

    Red wings in 6.

pretty fucking shitty start to this series. We look dead tired coming off that san jose series compare to a Detroit team that looks well rested. As bad as we're playing we are getting fucked over with some of these calls. That first Detroit goal was on a 5 on 3 that shouldn't of even happened. 2 players battling with each other after the whistle and somehow only fristic gets a penalty. That put us in a terrible position which resulted in the opening goal. On the 3rd detriot goal Holmstrom was clearly in the blue ice interfering with turco. You can't back a goalie into the net and not allow him to make a play. A call that should of been made that wasn't. But as mentioned before we don't deserve to be in this game with what we've displayed. It's gonna be hard enough to beat detriot, we don't need terrible calls going against us to make it even harder.

No comment on the penalties, I was drinking and playing pool at Burke's while all that shit went down. But Dallas looks pathetic frankly. You lot keep this up, you'll get swept, and I'm not talking shit here.

Dallas was pathetic last night. I doubt you'll see that team again. Whenever we have a terrible game tippett always gets shit together for the next game. After all those penalties in the first, and still being tired from the SJ series, we just had nothing left. We'll re-group, believe that.

It doesn't matter if you lose to the Wings. Brunnstrom - the best free agent available outside of the NHL that Mark was talking about before - is going to the Stars. Morrow, Richards, Brunnstrom, Ribeiro...sheesh.

Well you can't really complain about tiredness or penalties, those things happen to everyone and it's nobody's fault you played long series or seeded no' 5 and had to play tougher matchups.
    right?
it's playoffs, and you have to be good to get over everything that comes your way.
    btw,IMO 2-3 days u had,even after 4OT,it's pretty fine rest.

but you right,i expect Dallas to play better and i'm sure there will be more difficult games ahead of us.

    still,

I'm not complaining about it, I'm just stating the obvious. We were tired physically and mentally. You can't take that many penalties and expect to win against the worst team in the NHL. We didn't re-group after the SJ series. But I'm glad we got thumped, it's a wake up call.
