Detroit vs. Toronto tomorrow night, guys. Hockey Night in Canada too, so it'll be the perfect stage for these Leafs to officially wave the white flag on the season. I predict a 6-2 scoreline in favour of them Wings.

Habs lost 4-2 to the Leafs last night...I have to mention it just to piss off Mark. :D
What the hell happened to Detroit? They were owning the Kings and then I go off to watch Lost; come back and they've lost 5-3

Oh, and sorry for your loss too Mark :p

The referees screwed my team over again. Lidstrom scored with 40 seconds left to tie the game up, but the idiots called the goal back because Holmstrom was adjudged to have hampered Giguere's ability to make a save. What bullshit. Clear goal, and now we're on a three game losing streak. Not to mention the fact Pronger and company could have killed Zetterberg on that one play where he tackled him. Fucking Ducks. I can't wait until their unoriginal, expansion asses are beaten again. Fuck EVERYONE who are not the original six, especially useless clubs that reside in Orange County.

And there goes our fucking season. Lidstrom apparent concussion/broken collar bone.
Not a good season for teams with red uniforms, but hey at least watching your team's play wasn't recently cited as a cause of erectile dysfunction.

There's going to be a huge yard sale in a week's time, and I'm pretty sure there'll be plenty of decent temporary defencemen to choose from.

Pittsburgh traded half the team for Hossa who's UFA at the end of the season. I'm happy the habs didn't give up what Waddel wanted.(3 roster players + 1st round or Pacioretty/McDonaugh).

The Pens f*cked up IMO since they might lose him this summer or if they sign him(8-9m) they'll end up in the same situation as Tampa Bay.

I agree that it was a stupid move. On top of that, Malkin will probably be on his way out as well come summertime.

stars made a BIG trade today. they could've possible booked a place in the stanley cup finals with the move today

fucking right we made a huge move. Brad richards was probably the best guy available and I'm glad we got him. We really didn't give up much either, especially since jussi will probably be coming back to dallas in the off season.

They didn't need much. The wings are a solid team. What are they, 1-8-2 in the last 11 games? Yet they still have a 5 point lead with 2 games in hand over dallas. It just shows you how ridiculously good they played at the start of the season, if they can play the way they did at the start of the season they'll be fine. With that said, anything can happen in the last 15 or so games. Pre all-star break the wings had a 17 point lead over dallas, now its only 5. I doubt we'll catch the wings but I know we'll make a run at it. One thing is for sure, if 1st means playing colorado I hope we don't catch the wings. That'll be a tough first round match-up.

The NHL is a fix. Why? Simply because a team in Southern California can get away with this shit ( http://www.tsn.ca/nhl/news_story/?ID=231940&hubname= ) time and time again with fucking ultra mobster Brian Burke as a GM. Chris Pronger has seemingly always escaped suspension or fines (except once) for as long as he's been in an Anaheim jersey, and the same goes for his teammates. The Ducks play a filthy game in this "new and improved" NHL that promised to cut down on dirty play. Bullshit.

Chris Simon did the same thing a couple months back and got the gigantic cock of justice from the league's disciplinary committee. It's sad, because I had to hear Don Cherry discipline Simon for his actions on Hockey Night in Canada, and soon Cherry's airtime turned into a rant about the lifestyles of Natives on the reserves in Canada. Don Cherry is a fucking right-wing conservative military fondling hypocrite because just last year he urged every Canadian to support Anaheim because they had the most Canadians and they played a rough and tough "Canadian style". He singled out Pronger's play as fantastic even though he delivered a UNFAIR hit on Holstrom of the Red Wings. When Simon does it, he gets a lecture from Don Cherry...we'll see what Cherry has to say about Pronger. I bet he ignores it.

I hate the Ducks, Pronger, Brian Burke, Bettman and the NHL Execs, the League itself and the fact that California has half of the amount of teams Canada has in its entire country. Fuck this disgrace. It won't surprise me if the Ducks win the Stanley Cup again this year.
