Looks like we won't get a power play this whole game by the way the officiating is going, but we haven't done a good enough job shooting the puck and getting stuck in in the neutral zone. Our players need to step up, especially Hossa, and if he doesn't, there is no reason to renew his contract for seven years as far as I'm concerned.

Get stuck in, make more hits, take more shots. Don't leave Ozzie out to dry.

Meh, more class shown by us at the end of the game than the Pens' in two others.

Mule should have found a way to get that last scramble in the net.

Oh well. We didn't do good enough in front of goal (both ends) and the calls came a little too late. That's what happens in the new NHL of free-for-all refereeing.

Our fans and Hossa need to step it up on Friday.

Bettman wants a game seven, lets give it to him.

I love it how the brainiacs on NBC are dissecting the game, thinking they know something about it. They don't. Lidstrom tried to get the puck before the second goal as he thought our right-winger, think it was Franzen, would be able to back-check in time. Or the center. But that didn't happen, so they call it "an epic error we don't see from Lidstrom." These guys don't even question the non-calls on the Penguins, yet they always question stuff when it comes to Hossa slashing someone before passing the puck for a goal, Holmstrom crowding the net when we scored at home, and all other questionable stuff that are mostly non-calls. The bias is amazing but predictable.

I sent my Uncle a blue Crosby shirt because his girlfriend likes them and despite him growing up in Detroit, he isn't a really loyal fan. He likes the Rangers. They obviously don't have that crap shirt in the Detroit area. I already started to regret it before I bought it. :inter:

But I suppose I can do that for him after he's bought/acquired me tickets to the Joe practically every year since I was the age of five.

I love it when sport reaches such an intensity (for die hard fans), that the superstitions start to take over. I do that shit from time to time. I thought that Boston lost to Carolina in game 7 OT, because I had run out of beer.

I had buddy's who were eating the same pre-game meals at the same time

I like your chances at the Joe, all the same.

    Hayden Panetierre is smokin hot.

That's pretty crazy, but it's not so much superstition in this case for me. Instead, it's more about giving them some business. Plus I hate Crosbeak and his Cristiano Ronaldo-like media frenzy. :inter:

I don't think the Pens have been anywhere near better than us, but our boys, both on the ice and in the stands better show up Friday.

If not, fucking Bettman and all the fair-weather fans will get what they want. A Crosby Cup. Then the disrespect towards Wayne and Mario will commence, even though it already partially has.

I'm listening to Pittsburgh sports radio and of course people are calling in saying, the Wings are an overrated team favored by the refs, they shouldn't have won last year, the only reason why they score is because they interfere with Fleury, et cetera. :lol2:

But hey, game seven in Detroit, Michigan. Talk about a massive influx of money to local bars, local resorts, and the Joe itself. Plus IF we win, the parade should be on Sunday, so that means more revenue for downtown restaurants, bars, other establishments, mass transit, taxes, et cetera. Even in the suburbs. Such an event will raise quite a lot of revenue even in a depleted economy. So that might be a blessing in disguise. Just better WIN.
