Fuck, at least your fanbase finally feels as though they can trash talk the Bruins again, after such a disgusting, embarrassing performance last season.

Thanks for the laughs, I've always loved seeing how butthurt the MTL fans get when it comes to the B's physical style of play. It's really more than normal, when you folks are traditionally used to seeing your little 'uns getting beat up every game. :p

I've said it many times before: I like when Montreal and Toronto are competitive, the rivalries with Boston are amongst my very favourite in professional sports. Montreal is probably my favourite rivalry, actually - great emotion.

I heard Chicago also in the "Iggy" hunt.
Very much doubt it. They're pretty stacked with high end scoring, and there's no spot for him in the top 6, really; everything I've read suggests that they've got budgetary and logistical restraints that would very likely preclude them from making this type of move. Iggy's looking for an extension, brother, he doesn't want to be a rental; not going to happen in CHI.

Pittsburgh also couldn't do an extension. They have cap space right now, but they're going to need to shell out big bucks to Geno and Letang. LA has a few guys who are going to need some contracts after this season. Honestly, I'm not sure how I feel about it (because I don't know what's headed out the door), but I would comfortably throw $50 on him coming to Boston right now. Rask needs a deal, but Thomas' deal is already off the books, Savvy is still LTIR, and Horty and his 4M are UFA at the end of this season. I think the B's could make the money work, although that depends on Iggy.

No problem, glad it made you laugh :D

I'm hoping for a good game.

That's it, Mark. Both healthy scratches, as is Iggy right now. JI is coming to Boston, and while I am pretty high on Koko's natural ability, this is a deal I can definitely stomach. I wonder what the extension looks like?

Edit: was just reminded by an article that the B's re-signed Bartkowski to a one year, one way deal yesterday. Seems a bit strange, but maybe Calgary is really comfortable with him?
