In the meantime we signed some Swiss D called Diaz. Well, they say he's the best D over there and could become better than Streit. Not a better shot but more precise. We are also contemplating signing Yemelin from the KHL and Russian D #74 at the Worlds. We drafted him 4(?) years ago. You could compare him to Darius Kasparaitis. Also during the Quebec major league series there was a kid not drafted that had a good season over there that I think we should sign. Probably won't make the NHL but you never know. Let's take a chance and Hamilton could use him. Philip-Michaël Devos.

Its about damn time that Emelin decided to come to North America. Jesus, they drafted him 7 years ago. He's grown a lot. He's at 6'2" 220, and loves to hit people. THe kid has averaged 100 PIM a year in the Russian League.

Krejci is obviously nowhere close to Datsyuk yet, but you guys don't watch enough of him to fully appreciate Krejci. He just turned 25, and if he ever puts on a bit more muscle (Datsyuk is an inch shorter, with 17-20 pounds more muscle), David Krejci will be quite a scary player.
It's not like I'm underestimating his ability. I'm just making fun of what Versus was purporting, that he does everything that Datysuk does. That is obviously nonsense. Pavs doesn't get the respect he deserves from this stupid channel, or anyone for that matter.

I'm in the camp that thinks Thornton takes way too much heat for his playoff performances.
I'm not. I think he's trash. Thornton is a classless cunt who deserves his captaincy stripped and his teeth knocked out. I used to like him while in Boston, but he's a despicable role model and captain as far as I'm concerned. In this series alone he's taken a dive twice, slashed Pavs and Hank at the end of games during losses like a little hissy-fit bitch, and being the usual choke in front of goal. He can pass the puck, sure. He can win faceoffs illegally by not being set in front of the dot while the refs look the other way, sure. Good one on him for that.

But anyway, the choker can go fuck himself while the other choker Marleau watches him.

Fell bad for you Wings fans. Must of been a rough couple of minutes towards the end of that game. Datsyuk was amazing.
Ehh, I was still proud of the team. As I said, it was a close series and not many teams could have mounted that comeback.

Once again the usual "Wings are too old and it's the end of a dynasty" crew are back out in force today, so I can't wait until next season to prove them wrong for like the 12th year in a row.

It would make the conference harder and would probably rework the divisions. Could be good unless it's a division with Philly, Pitts, Det, and NJ. That would suck ass.

Boston would probably join the Atlantic division while we slide into the Northeast. Not sure who would take the place of the defunct Thrashers in the Southeast... perhaps Philly. Although, that would mean separating the PA teams from the same division, which isn't good for the rivalry.

Mind you, it most likely won't happen considering how the Wings sell out away games for most Western Conference teams.

He's not getting anything close to big money - especially from San Jose (who have some high priced guys already, and some youngsters they'll need to pay soon). He's had trouble sticking with teams because he's lazy - especially in practice - and he's always terribly out of shape. The guy show's up like 20 pounds overweight at training camp every year. The entire league knows this.
He was getting close to a million in Vancouver. I think he could get somewhere around there again in San Jose for another year. Have you ever seen that picture of him reading by a pool? http://cdn3.sbnation.com/imported_assets/140772/wellwood_medium.jpg

They really have to do something with the Panthers as well.
    Easy. Quebec City.

When he was in Vancouver, I remember Bieksa getting near hysterical during one local interview when the subject of Wellwood's fitness came up. And of course, he used to have the nickname Kyle Wellfed. I'm not sure if that started in T.O., or Vancouver.

So what is this I'm hearing that Montreal is interested in Jaromir Jagr? I know that he is Plekanec's idol and all, but I don't know about this.

How would you Eastern Conferencers feel about Detroit joining you lot?
    Always said it should happen.

Heard that last week but some radio host with contacts said Gauthier said no. Mario Jr wouldn't mind Pens or Rags either.

Game two in Boston tonight. Even though they came back against the Habs, I still have to say this is a must-win for them.
