Great games,we definietly need the rest,Cleary also said that in the post game interview, that some important guys for us are playing with minor injuries,so these few extra days of rest should do only good.
And i expect Babs and the veterans to keep the mental energy up,practice hard, avoiding any uppset in game 1 of the second round.

    LET'S GO RED WINGS!!!
Unfortunately we'll have to travel out West again and partake in late games, so we certainly need the rest. Lots of traveling.

Wow. How the hell did the Habs allow a three-on-one odd man rush in on Price like that? Absolutely disastrous. Series tied at 2-2.

Plus it's Mike Ryder, too. Ouch.

Here's Cleary's sick goal from last night. Brilliant shot. Plus take a look at Bertuzzi celebrating a minute in. :D

EDIT: Fuck SHITcago, but they're up 3-0 now. Looks like the last game really screwed up the Nucks, but there's still time.

Not good, not good at all! Bad turnovers, bad changes, not capitalizing our chances...

Boston wanted it more in the 2nd part of the game and created their chances, got good bounces and won. That's hockey.

Won't be easy. 1st thing I said was it's over. Series done! You never know though. Things can change but that one was hard to take. 2-2, home advantage back...Doesn't look good.

Would of been nice to have Pacio instead of Moen or Drache on that 1st line but... :sigh:

Ference showing the finger to the fans. Really Andrew? :sergio:

3-0 doesn't seem to be a safe lead in the NHL anymore, so the game isn't over whatsoever. They just need to take that thumb and plug their defensive zone with it.

Yep, for someone who hasn't been able to follow hockey as much as I used to I've been enjoying it. Can't follow mainly because it doesn't come on tv much unless it's playoff time. Last nights game between Washington and New York was some good viewing, couldn't believe the 3rd period comeback.

The bottom line is that Montreal, with the exception of Carey Price and possibly P.K Subban, are nowhere close to level with Boston in terms of talent.

Anyone could see this coming for the last several years, with the way they have been rpoducing players from their farm system. Not only with the players who are currently on the active roster, but in the way that those prospects have been utilized in acquiring players like Kaberle and Horton.

I hate to admit it, because I hate Boston more than any other sports team out there, but I knew this was coming. I pay attention to minor league hockey, and the NCAA and the CHL. I just knew that it was only a matter of time.

Meanwhile, Montreal goes and trades the likes of Ribeiro and Latendresse for jockstraps.

They left Carey Price out to die there last night. They absolutely did. It seems as if they have forgotten their defensive responsibilities. But its not just that.

Boston is using their size advantage. Not to physically knock people out, but they are using it in their forechecking, and what it is doing is it is allowing more of their players to get into the offensive zone quicker. Its becoming a real problem. They are not dumping and chasing the puck the way they were in the first two games. They are putting the puck up against the boards so that it is forcing Montreal to put a forward and a defenseman in the corner on a consistent basis to battle for loose pucks. Its opening up space in the slots and just above the faceoff circles which is putting Montreal on their heels in their defensive zone.

Yeah, our only chance to avoid it,is if the Preds beat the Ducks, and Chicago make the unbelievable and knock out the Nucks...
i know it'll be not easy against the Preds,BUT i would prefer this and the scenario where Hawks and Sharks going to beat each other is::lick::drool:

i hate the hawks, but i would love to avoid the Sharks right now,and avoid the travel to the west.

anyway, we have few days till next Monday/Tuesday to get ready and healthy,Z and Mule will be back and ready.

    LET'S GO RED WINGS!!!
