Datsyuk all over the place. Even hitting people. You guys got a little scare at the end but next time no penalties and you'll be fine.

We have been taking too many stupid penalties. Yet another 5 on 3 today. That has to change.

Pavs is really stepping up and that is fantastic to see.

Andy, the new Montreal fanboy. Congratulations buddy.

Watching this Bruins team is making me fucking sick. That's 4 goals for Montreal, ALL from ridiculous, elementary turnovers. They're making the type of mistakes that coaches focus on in novice or peewee hockey. The Boston defense has been absolutely putrid, and is killing this fucking team right now. Not to mention our first two lines need a real fucking shot in the ass.

Montreal has done a great job of using their speed, getting their sticks in passing lanes and their bodies in shooting lanes. Price has been outstanding.

But Boston is fucking serving this series up to them on a silver platter. Next to zero net-front presence, very poor discipline, taking the body at all the wrong times. If the Bruins don't get their heads into this right now, this series is going to be a quick one.

Halpern still not fit to play. AK46 foot injury. Finished the game the other day but I guess his foot swelled up too much and could handle the pain. His replacement scored but I hope he comes back soon.

Rollie, to make you feel better, I'd like to see the Bruins win both games in Montreal and have the series go to seven games. Actually, I want all series going to a game seven except for the Wings.

    :D

Unfortunately, after watching these past two games, I don't have a whole lot of hope for the series.

Fortunately, Boston did have something like the 4th or 5th best road record in the league - better than their home record. They have the talent to overcome this deficit, but the way they've played offers very little hope.

The simple facts are that the Krejci line was terrible for about the last 7-8 games of the regular season. Really bad. Watching them these first two playoff games, they've got some solid mental blockage going. Fumbling pucks, zero composure (like when Krejci bungled that wide open net when we had a chance to tie the game at 2 - that's normally a goal), turnovers, falling on their butts, bad penalties, just not sharp at all.

The Bergeron line was little better. Bergy is always decent, but Marchand can't bury to save his life right now, he's taken a few dumb-dumb penalties and poor Rex is really showing his age - he's a snail out there.

It's a waste to play Rich Peverley with both Kelly (who should be on the fourth line), and Ryder (who should be in the press box).

I'd like to see them shift things around, flip Campbell to the 3rd, kelly to the 4th, but it's hard to make a case for breaking up the 4th line - considering they may be our best line right now. At least they're doing their job :sergio:

At this point, I really see no reason not to get Seguin into the mix. I don't like how Julien and co. have handled his development this year, and while the B's are getting their asses handed to them by their biggest rivals, they may as well give the kid a first hand taste of that pain.

I'm pretty confident that Z was a little under the weather for game 1 - he wasn't sharp at all - and who knows how things will shape up for game 3 tomorrow. Unfortunately, the D who are supposed to be our other 'top guys' have been awful. Kabby was terrible in game 1, bad in game 2 - really hasn't done too much since he arrived. I spent a ton of game 2 yelling at Seidenberg, who was responsible for 2 of those turnovers last night that led to goals iirc. I could go on and on. That second goal where Ference lost track of the puck off the faceoff, panicked and then threw it blind - and soft - to (I believe) Cammy behind the net... jesus. All of it just makes me so angry.

Credit to Montreal who has really executed their game plan well. Boston haven't handled their speed, especially our D men in our own zone. The B's have struggled with puck retrieval and breakouts for 2 years now, it's just silly. Losing Kampfer has hurt, and even Stuey, who often struggled with puck retrieval issues, would be a huge upgrade on Hnidy obviously.

No credit to Julien, who is getting completely schooled and once again looks totally lost; if things continue like this, he's going to rightfully get fired.

I just can't believe all 5 goals are on retarded turnovers. The whole situation just makes me want to break things.

Sorry for the rant. I just find it all so frustrating.

Great atmosphere in Montreal. Lots of hot girls in the stands, as usual.

Boston already screwed up with a too many men penalty.

not good, not good at all. Players looked nervous and didn't show up for the game. Must have emptied their balls when they came back to Montreal.
