Tiago and Poulsen can play in my formation instead of Marchisio and Sissoko, nothing changed there.

Del Piero playing less is not an issue, as I said the three attacking midfielders are versatile. David Silva can play there if we get him, Diego, etc. Even Camo or Marchionni.

You don't have to really comment on Molinaro, I used him just to complete the formation.

We don't have to be much stronger defensively if we strengthen the defensive department, a 4-2-3-1 offers much more forward though.
I just don't like the idea of having 4 pretty good midfielders when we're using just two.

4-2-3-1 requires some great defenders and it's the reason Spalletti started changing it recently.
I'd still like to have some unbeaten defense and attack would not be very less effective with Cassano and Gio who provide creativity and some beast like Amauri. It's just my opinion.

although on paper 4-2-3-1 is very good and del piero is not bad on the left side age and speed are not on his side.he doesnt have the speed to constantly take on the RBs
he will be better of in the middle

Um, I don't understand this Football Italia article.

Cassano OR Silva? Does that mean if we get the former, Giovinco will be the Nedved replacement? Because Cassano is not a left-winger...
I understood the title exactly that way: if we get Cassano, Giovinco becomes Nedved's replacement, if Silva, Del Piero's heir. I'm not a fan of Cassano, however personally I prefer Giovinco on the left and Cassano with Amauri upfront than Silva on the left and Amauri with Giovinco partnership in attack...

But still, it's just a C4's title, Ranieri didn't say that a all.

Cassano is a top player and one we could really use. More and more I am thinking he will be one of our key signings over the summer. His recent form has been great.

As I write this Samp are beating Inter 3-0 thanks to Cassano and Pazzini (2)

So wouldn't that allude to Ranieri not knowing how to most accurately use Giovinco?

Cassano is unneeded and an unnecessary hassle. But truth be said, his almost telepathic understanding with Pazzini makes the duo a joy to watch together.

What hassle has Cassano caused since he got his ban last season, Fred?

If we are ever going to sign Cassano, this summer is the time to do it.

Yup & I was expecting the same result in the league as they did in the coppa italia.Cassano really is luxury this team really doesnt need & what makes it worse for me is that Sampdoria will make a killing off him if Secco brings him in.

His past is enough for me to judge. There are just no guarantees with the guy, he's a ticking time bomb. Sure he's behaving himself lately and probably thats because he wants to attract the big boys, but who's to say that after he establishes himself in the first team he won't get back to his ways?

:agree:

Yup especially with the many strikers you guys have, there are more pressing matters if you ask me
