Vlatko what do you think you Rakitic filling in for Nedved & Camo?
Dunno anymore and I've been asked that quite a few times. He's a talented player though this year he seems to have faded away. For a fair price I think he's worth a gamble but will he fill such big shoes? I don't know...

Consider this:

Is Cassano's temper a bigger risk than signing a player (Diego or Silva) who has no experience of Serie A?

Keep in mind that Cassano wouldn't cost as much.

In the case of Silva, he is a better player than Cassano, plus he's a winger so he'd fit in the formation straight away plus he doesn't bring in the excess baggage Cassano brings with him.

for me, between Silva and the cry baby its a no brainer.

That is of course, if you guys aren't forced to pay over the odds for Silva.

I don't know, someone should just ask Cassano if he is going to submit to what Juventus will ask of him or not. Perhaps Juve could throw some kind of "clause" in the contract regarding behavioral issues should he get out of hand.

I would still prefer Mr. Ribery (gonna keep my hopes :claire: for him) and to be honest I would still be happy should Diego or Silva arrive. Cassano is the only one I think from a smaller club that would add anything extra to our team in the same way Neddy did when we got him. Any other player of that quality would be from a big team in Italy that we would have no chance of getting, so we would ultimately have to take a chance on a non Serie A proven talent.

ive said it before, Del Piero knows how to keep him in line. We need someone like him.
Del Piero wont last forever bud, besides if there is anyone I would fear on Juve to whoop some ass would be either Chiellini or Sissoko:D
