I'm Ready to Join Juve Now, Says Cassano

Bari wonderkid Antonio Cassano has issued a plea to his club to sell him now if they do not plan to keep him. Juventus are believed to have first option on the £20 million-rated teenage striker, who insisted: "I understand this was my last Christmas as a Bari player and I can't relax if I don't know where I'm going."
Cassano added: "I want to know my future as soon as possible." Serie A leaders Roma have also expressed an interest in the 18-year-old and his destination may be determined by a bidding war.
"If Juventus really want me in January, I will go immediately," Cassano said. "I know this decision is also about my club, but I'm ready for Juventus.
"I'm sorry for the Bari fans and for the situation in which the club finds itself. I would like to stay until the end of the season to help the club in its fight to stay in Serie A, but if the opportunity is there, I have to go."
Although it had appeared that Roma were favourites to secure his services, Cassano now seems to prefer Juventus. "In the past few weeks, many important people have spoken well of me, including Gianni Agnelli and Zinedine Zidane, and that's womderful.
"To play alongside Zidane and Del Piero would be the best thing in the world for me."
Internazionale, AC Milan, Lazio and Parma are all expected to throw their hats into the ring once bidding for the youngster begins. He is expected to command a fee of at least £20 million.
Not since the emergence of Roberto Baggio has such interest been shown towards a young Italian player. Cassano has been compared to the Brescia forward on more than one occasion and is expected to become a prominent figure in Italian and international football for years to come.

It would certainly rank as one of the worst managerial decisions I have seen of any club for quite some time. We send him out on loan. He does well, returns to the fold, accepts that if he is to play he must knuckle down, work hard in training, and then take any opportunity he gets, which is generally away from his natural position. he does this, and shines when he does play for us, and just when he is showing the kind of ability we all know he has, against both quality and weaker opposition, the club decides the time is right to give him to another club...that makes sense only to a cretin determined to ruin this club...I can't write anymore, else I will start to believe its more than just a rumour. and then, the anger will start to rise inside, my blood will begin to boil...
The only reason to think that there could be some truth to this horrible suggestion is:>
The Board wants Cassano. If we dont get him this Summer, he may go to another top team and our chances of getting him after that will be slim to none, unless he wreaks havoc and gets himself kicked out. To make sure we get him, we give Samp a player who is capable of replacing Cassano's assists and goals in their attack.
The thing is, when does he come back*
If Cassano is Del Piero's successor, where would Giovinco fit in to the plans in the future***
There is a chance, I suppose, that Ranieri's steadfast approach to 4-4-2, to system over talent, could allow such a deal to be voiced...but the clearest thing to look at here is:
WE ALREADY HAVE GREAT FORWARDS.
So why the hell would Cassano be needed now****
He isn't.
With that all thought out clearly, I can see no logic whatsoever to buying Cassano, with or without Giovinco involved in the deal...By all means, we can release the likes of Lanzafame, Nocerino, Zalayeta and others of that quality level, to lesser teams, but to sacrifice one of the brightest prospects in world football, in order to bring in a player we don't even need, that is too deep into distasteful delirium for me to give it credence.
Our board may be a little sloppy, but they aren't complete lunatics.
