Cassano to Juve will NOT happen unless Roma's transfer embargo is lifted, it's as simple as that. A straight cash deal for Antonio just doesn't suit Juventus right now, not after spending €20m on Vieira.
At present we can't match Roma's asking price and Cassano isn't a necessity anyways. We have three top quality support strikers in Ibrahimovic, Mutu and Del Piero so quite frankly Cassano is surplus to requirements.
The squad has been adequately reinforced. Kovac, Giannichedda and Mutu will add some much needed depth to the team while Vieira will provide the cutting edge we lacked in midfield last season. Our number one priority was IMO for us to acquire an ideal central midfield partner for Emerson and we have done that. A new right back would basically complete the team, anything else (Cassano included) would be an added bonus.
Personally I'd rather keep the books balanced and be content with what we have upfront (which is pretty darn good) than spend €15-20m on Cassano.
