Roma look to keep trio Monday 14 February, 2005

Roma have maintained that they intend to keep Francesco Totti, Antonio Cassano and Vincenzo Montella at the club.
The contracts of all three players expire in the summer of 2006 but the Giallorossi are keen to tie them down to new deals.
"I want to say this for one last time, we want to keep all three players here," stated chief executive Rosella Sensi.
"We will do all that we can because we know the players very well even if they must share our desire to stay."
Some reports suggest that the club will only hand out new contracts if they can end this term in the top four.
"Their renewals are not tied to whether we qualify for the Champions’ League or not," added the President’s daughter.
"That is obviously an important objective for our club but it won’t be decisive regarding the futures of these three players."
Totti, who earlier today again stated that he was ready to stay under certain conditions, has been linked with Real Madrid.
The Spanish giants are also believed to be interested in Juventus target Antonio Cassano (pictured).
While Montella has many admirers given that he is currently the Serie A top-scorer following a stunning return to form.
