i only watched highlights from a few games, but Mykhailiuk impressed me tbh. looks like hes NBA ready and would fit right into Waltons system. Bonga on the other hand has a long way to go. cant wait for the season to start, this looks like an exciting group of players we have put together

@CR 7

Hart and Myjhailiuk just went off tonight. 68 points between the two of them. :delpiero:
I watched the whole game last night. Those 2 looked good, man. really good.

Svi reminds me of either a more athletic Kyle Korver or a poor man's Ginobili. Either way, these two are going to have a role on this team this season. I wouldn't be surprised if Hart ends up starting over KCP.

just watched the highlights, that 2OT was scoreless until 30-40 seconds to go? must have been some intense game. props to Hart and Mykhailiuk, but also that center looked very good. only 2 minutes for Bonga, like i said yesterday, the boy has a long way to go. has the body to become a NBA player, but has a lot to learn

as a bonus, heres a random Alex Sandro in a Laker shirt picture:

Isaac Bonga is extremely raw. They knew that when they drafted him.

He probably won't re-sign with Raptors next year anyway. Whether or not Lakers have cap space in another matter.

They'll have the cap space. All these players that they signed aside from Lebron are on 1 year deals.

Kawhi to Raptors, DeRozen to Spurs almost done.

And neither one of them are happy about it, according to reports. The Spurs have to do what is best for them, and if they can get a player like DeRozen as part of the deal, then that is as good as it is going to get.

I don't understand Toronto's mindset on this. Giving up DeRozen and a couple of the young guys (I've heard that it is Jakob Poeltl and OG Anunoby are included) for someone who has made it abundantly clear of his intentions are, well, interesting.

And I know that people want to compare this to the PG13 situation last year, but Kawhi isn't going to a place that had the reigning MVP.

Yeah it's hard to understand what Raptors think. But all things considered Spurs got a good deal. Kawhi making it clear he wants to be in LA made it pretty difficult for Spurs.
And for that reason I hope he fails wherever he ends up though that's unlikely.

Some players just aren't built to be the Alpha dog. I think that is what he saw in San Antonio. Despite Kawhi's difficult stance on this, San Antonio gets a 2 X All NBA player in return who is still just 28.

You really can't complain with that from San Antonio's perspective.

what if they wanted to get rid of DeRozan anyway (heard they plan to reshuffle the roster after the loss to the Cavs), and getting Kawhi now frees up their capspace for next summer, for maybe getting Boogie or Butler or someone else? i mean, this is far from a good deal for them (unless Kawhi re-signs), DeRozan is at his peak and they could have gotten picks and young players for him i imagine, just trying to find a good reason for them to potentially cripple the team post 2019

How much Cap space will Toronto have after next year? They won't have 2 max slots, so if they replace Kawhi with Boogie or Butler doesn't make them any better. They are going all in for this year in the East. But what does that get you? The honor of being manhandled by Golden State?

They are still not better than Boston once Kryie and Hayward come back. The narrative that Toronto being the 1st seed in the East and being the best team in the East last year was a farce. Boston with Kyrie and Hayward coming back easily makes them the best team in the East.

He is going to a place that finished first in the eastern conference tho.

But they are not the best team in the East. Everyone knows that. Boston with Kyrie and Hayward back are far better than Toronto.

Let's say for the Sake of argument, and this is debatable, that Lowry and Leonard are better than Kyrie and Hayward.

Then take a look at 3-12, and it is not even close. The Raptors don't have anyone on the level of Tatum or Brown. Hell, they may have someone on the level of Horford, but Al is the 5th best player on the Celtics.
