I know Mozgov is a good player, i watched him in Europe, Russia NT and NBA often enough, but its his age that concerns me besides his injuries. Hes 30 coming off a serious injury and we gave him a 4 year contract (money is OK but I don't like the length). Hopefully he does well and stays healthy so it pays off

Money is not Ok at all, 60 mil for years is huge even with the cap rising.

For comparaison he'll be making more than Curry, Kyrie if i am not mistaken.

But I like his leadership, LOVE his defense, and as a stretch 4, he flourished. Now, with 21 million left under the cap, I'd like to see them get a backup PG and a wing defender

They have to spend the money this year. That new TV contract caused an exponential increase in the Salary Cap. Yeah, the money is crazy this year, and it will be again next year, when the cap goes up by an additional 17 million dollars

Starting 5 looks great (except Mozgov obviously) and we now have Deng off the bench which is fantastic. Obviously Williams, Nance and Tarik Black. Still a bit thin though, dont want to count on Huertas as the backup PG so we should get someone but no idea how many good options are even available. Will be tough finding 2 good players for the 21M left, well atleast we have Young still Hope to see Zubac get a lot of chances, have a good feeling about this kid

Its an interesting group for sure, cant wait to see what Luke can do with these guys

Yeah im really excited to see what these youngsters are capable of when they're expected to carry the team + Ingram is also there now. I have faith in Luke Walton to make this group work, Phil Jackson once said that hes the most intelligent player he ever coached (or something along those lines), he should make a great coach
