They had too, Ainge wasn't getting godfather trade packages for him like he was holding out for. And Lauri would been free agent next summer.
But now it will be awkward. Roster has zero chances for playoff or play in spot.
But a healthy and not sitting out lauri too good to tank fully with for Cooper Flagg draft. Just like they couldn't tank for wemby with him there lol
So will be most likely 9-12 pick range below playoffs treadmill team. Or you get lucky like Hawks did, play in team that got 1st pick in huge luck of the draw.
But there's atleast 5-6 tanking teams worse then a Lauri led Jazz, so would still say your odds for Cooper Flagg sweepstakes will be lower.
