Trade deadline tomorrow, be interesting to see who makes what move. Can see LAL and GSW doing something to try to stay in PI contention.

I think Jazz might move a couple but price needs to be right. I don't expect anything blockbuster. This roster if left alone maybe has enough for PI but West is tough and so is the division.

Sought after players defo/probs on the block seem to be Dejounte Murray, Bruce Brown, Andre Wiggins, Alex Caruso, Kyle Kuzma.

If healthy very good backup pg for Conley. Can score both driving and 3s, good ball handler and floor general. Cant defend but not as needed with this elite team defense.

Shake was awful for us and Troy Brown jr good guy but was outside our rotation whole season. So essentially getting rotation PG for 2 guys that didn't get minutes.

Trader Danny determined to grab more picks. Lost 3 solid guys in Tech, KO and Ochai. Otto Porter can play but I expect Taylor Hendricks in particular to be bumped into the rotation now and maybe also Brice Sensabaugh. I feel like we traded out of the play in again.

No huge moves so far in the league. Some interesting ones with vets in particular moving to contenders. Knicks doing well.

a) almost no one is an actual NBA player
b) the judges suck year after year

I get that players wont come up with 5 innovative dunks every year, but besides that there's a lot of things in the dunk contest that are fixable.

If they cant, Id love to see who wins a 1v1 tournament :D

Macclung is fantastic show dunker but he isn't an nba player so it takes away the allure and interest. Like it's the nba all-stars game and the back to back (deserved) dunk champ is a guy not in the nba. Ans last year was exciting cuz it was like a shock to see him do it. Now we expected it, and his competition was still trash.

It's either good/decent players half assing with shit gimmicks like to say see I'm not trying as prepared excuse to why they didn't win (Jaylen Brown this year, most others other years).

Or majority of no name end of bench / G league bums signing up to fill the numbers. Like 2 years ago OB Toppin was in it and won, he is OK player who is true dunk specialist (most nba dunk specialists in nba avoid event like a plague since what was done to Gordon smh). Was deserved champ then.

But like this year his shitty G league brother Jacob Toppin signed up? Like why? No one knows you lol

As allways the best and true competition event of all-stars events is the 3 point contest. Its almost allways genuinely exciting and only event players truly go all out for. This year was no different. Yeah Dame won again, but it was close as heck multiple times, there were rounds were Dame, Hali , KAT and Trae all got 26, then repeated same again almost. Was really good.

3pt contest true meritocracy, really the best shooters almost allways sign up (only curry sits out at times to give others a chance). And not much stinkers, only one guy per event chokes horribly. This year was Beasley lol (guy who shoots only 3s in nba had too slow shot release to keep up in this event). Last year it was Kevin Huerter lol

West looks like it's going to be a sprint to the finish for spots so that will cost some worse teams some schedule wins against good teams, and you'll see stars play more than in a normal season in the run-in.

I expect Jazz to finish bottom 10 and get their pick as their schedule is hard, even for the pre-trade roster. Worst case scenario would be finishing in that no man's land between the pick and play-in, but I can't see it happening at all.

@KB824 @Post Ironic @Salvo @Bianconero81 (I know you not lakers fan lol):

Nostalgia trip, this has to be the most fun/exciting team in my life time. Mini-show time period, 97 lakers with Young Kobe, young Nick the Quick, Eddie Jones, fast and agile Shaq.

Not enough to win yet, but with this insane peak athleticism, this team was a highlight reel every night. All fastbreaks, alley-oops, dunks, and-1 mixtape crossovers.

I was a bit too young to remember much of this but damn young Kobe and Shaq were amazing. Legit highlight reel all game.
So fun. This type of basketball is so much more fun than people just jacking shots up from beyond the arc

I loved that Lakers Dynasty (which came a few years later), even if Shaq defected from my team to go to LA.

That was a great team, and Kobe and Shaq are two of my all time favorites.
