The job that Pelinka has done since the trade line has been amazing.

That being said, I still count down the days until LeBron and AD are gone.

Let this GM cook with some real salary cap space, and watch him do his thing.

My man Kobe was no fool. He saw the greatness in him.
Yeah I was doubting him at some point but he turned it around beautifully. This team should be better than last years and with some deadline deals (DLo can be upgraded on), it can be a real contender. If the team stays healthy which is always a toss up. I'd still like another center as well

Click translate on this tweet, its well worth the read :D:D

Or fuck it I can just copy the translation here (tho the tweet as brief video):

Hi guys, my name is Michele I want to tell you about my encounter with the strongest player in the world.

A few days ago a horse racing enthusiast friend of mine informed me that Nikola Jokic would be at the Agnano racecourse, in Naples, to follow a race of Emily Pan, the youngest horse in his stable.

In order not to be completely clueless, the same day I went to buy a Nuggets tank top. In one of the few shops in the city that sell them, they had only one model from Denver, from only one player: the 15… by Carmelo Antony.

Even though I knew I couldn't entice him with a tank top that wasn't his, I went to the racecourse and as soon as I saw it I immediately showed it to him asking for an autograph. The answer is a resounding no. He tells me he's tense because his horse would soon be running and he didn't want distractions.

To avoid annoying him I walk away waiting for the race to finish. The problem is that it's not going very well, and when I see him dark in the face returning to his garage, I think it's time to leave. This time I'm far away and there are a few other people with me, all out taking videos and photos. I try again screaming "Nikola, just an autograph I swear!" but he points his finger at no, he just seems very disappointed by the race.

I decide to leave but a friend of mine to whom I will be indebted forever suggests what will be the wisest idea of the day.

Don't laugh, please.

We go to a supermarket and buy two Peroni beers. Let's go back to the racecourse, Jokic is always near his horse. I yell at him "Joker, I have a gift for you!" with Peroni in hand. This time he smiles at me, raises his thumb and with his hand invites me to enter.

We talked for 10 minutes drinking beer together, he told me that his horse didn't make a good impression but it promises well and he is confident that he has 5 more and will relax in the next few days to follow them in other races.

I swear, I've never seen such a sudden change in mood between showing him the Denver tank top and when I came back with the beers. It's funny, I know, but it was incredible and I still can't believe it.

Ah…in the end he signed the tank top

Michele Nunziata and the Peroni-move to get to the strongest player on the planet.

Dont blame him, I'll do anything for a peroni right now :p:D

I think they are looking to bring Bamba back. I wouldn't mind it. At least he can space the floor. I'm only looking for rim protectors at this point for 20 minutes per game

Watched my first summer league ever tonight. What a forgettable debut by Wemby but the funnier part is that the other French guy Spurs drafted in the second round (Sidy Cissoko) got 9! personal fouls in 21 minutes. Quite an achievement.

This in-season tournament might be a good idea.

It's part of the regular season, except for the final. So it's not like those cup games in European football whose schedules are independent of league matches.

So no extra games for players and the regular season becomes funnier and more competitive.

Despite the meme factor....He scored at the right basket :D This clip cuts out the context. The entire Mavericks team was going in the wrong direction. Marcus Bingham (the guy who "scored") was actually the only one going in the correct direction. The thing is, the refs should have called over and back when the Mavs first took it over the timeline. In fact, the Mavericks weren't even the ones who were supposed to take the ball out (and committed back court violation over it), but the other team. Everything was screwed up about that play.

Btw this is not the first time dallas mavericks team get confused about what side of the basket they are gonna inbound at, as the inbounder and whole of the team except this guy were, they actually lost a regular season game vs warriors because they forgot what side of the ball they were playing at after time out lol

Haha the hair thing was the roast comedian side of him, and the fact KD wasn't arguing any point in previous tweets, and just insulting this guy.

So he made it a comedic red line throughout it to get payback while dropping facts:D

He is 19. Pretty scary. Too many young athletes past years suffering from similar.

Thankfully he is out of icu and doing better today.

In other news, this is what losing the ball 8 times per game in NBA finals earns you as new contract:

$69m at 32-33 years old, those sort of contracts scare me. Basically has to win a championship (or two) or it's an epic fail.

Bronny definitely 18, he'd be in the NBA otherwise. Wonder what this means for his short-medium term. Will surely drop him down any future draft even if he gets better.
