Agree. SGA is already better than “Playoff P” and he’s only gonna get better. Clippers banked on win finally winning their first title with their two stars, but the only year they were healthy, they choked hardcore after going up 3-1 on the Nuggets, and those two shot like 20% from the field in that game 7 loss lol.
It’s kinda funny, because their management has found a way to surround those two with probably the deepest team in the NBA and if Kawhi could actually stay healthy they should be in the top 2-3 favourites each year for the title.

Probably has to do with the richest owner by far, and his willingness to go over the cap repeatedly without thinking about consequences. But also smart management ofcourse, they acquired some quality depth, which shows when their stars are out. Now they are left with excuses like not being healthy and "not wanting to be in the bubble" lol. Poor Kawhi, could have been part of a dynasty but chose "his team" and PG instead lol. Funny to watch

Part of a dynasty with Le GM and Street Clothes? Nah. He won with the Spurs and with The Raptors. He never needed LeBum to win. Seeing how the Fakers treated Westbrook, I wouldn't want to team up with LeBum either.
Not every player needs to join the Lakers or Celtics to win. Yes, they are both storied franchises, by far the most successful in the NBA, but this kind of entitlement is why I actively root against both teams. I used to actually like the Lakers (mostly because of Shaq and then Kobe), but the amount of Laker and LeBum coverage on NBATV and other networks and the level of throating that occurs in the media has made me dislike them to the level of a Chelshit or Red Cunts of Manc.

No arguments regarding Paul George - in fact, I think he should be renamed PJ13 (Pajamas George) instead of PG13, considering the amount of time he spends injured. Nonetheless, this does not negate the fact that AD is also frequently injured.

Frequently injured has degrees. The only year AD missed huge amount of time was last season. And 2021 he got hurt in the playoffs. Otherwise he misses games but far from the worst in the league to warrant such a ridiculous nickname

I don't think they'd lack depth, they had Kuzma and Caruso, would have probably signed Rondo and Dwight on vet min deals, and had the mid exception to use on a shooter. Later that season they acquired Markieff Morris. They don't have Green, KCP, McGee but that's a good trade off if you ask me. Point is he would have been put in pole position to be THE team of the last 3 seasons

Why they traded for him? Well bad trades happen. Not sure why Russ, but the team was pretty good in 2021, went up 2-1 against PHX in the first round and was playing G4 at home. AD got hurt in that game and they lost, then they lost the next 2 with Schröder, Kuzma, Harrell etc playing pretty bad. They tried to preserve James and wanted another star ball handler, and I guess Westbrook was the logical choice after a great season (or only choice? Not sure who else was available). Problem was that now you had 3 40M+ guys and no money left for signings. Then they did double damage by going after finished players (check how many of last seasons roster aren't even in the league anymore). Blaming it on Westbrook is easy but that team just wasn't good enough with AD missing a lot of time, and this seasons team while better and younger, wasn't constructed well (100 guards and no wings) and still needed elite production from their top guys to even make the playoffs. Still not sure about this management, it's like they put up a new team randomly every season and it's either great or garbage, nothing in-between.
