"Street Clothes", when PG is out for a while and Kawhi just missed 2 straight playoff games, funny.
He won one with the Spurs, with their big 3 who all won together before him already, so your own argument is weak there. In 2019, KD was out and Klay got hurt in the closing games of the series. With the clippers so far, he hasn't proven he can win. If he "doesn't need James" to win, what does he need? Why did he win only twice, (only) one on a all time great team and one when his opponent was decimated?
With the Lakers, they would have won atleast 2 together, maybe even more. So for the first time in his life, he'd have been part of a dynasty, or you disagree with that?
Westbrook was traded because he was not a good fit. The Lakers might have missed the playoffs 2 years in a row if he stayed. And why is trading a player treating him bad? The same Westbrook was traded in 2019, 2020, 2021 already before that. Players are traded all the time, don't see your point here.
No one says "everyone needs to join the Lakers or Celtics to win". What I said is if Kawhi joined the Lakers in 2019, which he could have easily, he'd have been part of a dynasty (if they stayed healthy during the playoffs). Again do you disagree? If I say for example, "if the Warriors traded Poole and Green for Giannis, they would win another 3 rings", would you also reply with "not everyone needs to join the Warriors to win"?
