Oh, maybe I should watch the 4th then later
It was an embarrassing physical performance from AD, Dwight, and JaVale. Combined for 4 rebounds total in 65 minutes. AD had 2 rebounds, none on the offensive glass in 43 minutes. He had a pretty decent game scoring, but played like a frail old lady when it came to rebounding.

The biggest reason for this loss was getting out rebounded 44-25. LeBron had 40% of the teams rebounds last night :sergio:

We’ll lose this series if we continue like this.

And at some point the refs have to give Lebron some calls. Only took 4 three point attempts, 23 shots attempted total (made 14), and they only put him on the line for 2 FTAs. He gets fouled almost every time he drives.

that’s not a Lebron thing. Jokic gets mauled and never gets calls. Like @Kopanja said, Rondo was getting away with murder and the refs let it happen to make the game closer. They’re just inconsistent overall

Nah. Lebron is probably the worst reffed player in the league. With the amount of driving and attacking he does, the number of calls he gets is ridiculous. And it’s been going that way for a few years now. Reffing is inconsistent overall, but he has been a very poorly reffed player for a few years now given the standard set for other superstars. He has shot 10 fts in 3 games. Jokic has shot 23. Hardly call 8/game never getting calls.

And bro, the Nuggets shot 21 more fts over the last two games against us, which is amusing considering the crying they did about the refs when we shot 9 more fts in game 1. I guess their crying worked.

Anyways, that’s not the biggest problem for us, as I said. If we allow them to dominate the glass like last night we are going nowhere. We’ve got the most physically dominant line-up of big men in the league (alongside your team), so we need to play like it.

@zizinho 3-1, Nuggets got us right where they want us! :scared:

On another note, it’s really too bad Dwight is such a bad free throw shooter. Dude was dominating through the first three quarters. And just killed it on the offensive glass for us. And we were +7 in his 23 minutes.

Rondo team worst -9, but he actually played really good on the offensive side, just no D.

Hate seeing Morris at the 5. Denver isn’t Houston and Morris just can’t play that role against them. He was awful again tonight.

Nice to see LeBron having a beast game on D (especially 4th qtr) with his jump shot off, hitting ~80% of his FTs including 4 straight in the last two minutes to help close things out, and his 8 assists with 0 turnovers was fantastic given how he had 6 tos in each of the last two.

This Denver team is so scrappy. Hats off to them. We led the entire night, after 12-12 in the first quarter, pushed the lead to 10 multiple times but just could not pull away. Impressive fight.

Loving all the “nba is rigged” whining because Lebron finally got calls tonight.

Through 4 games. Lakers - Called for 109 fouls
Nuggets - called for 97 fouls

FTs 113-113

So rigged. Lol

Very good game indeed. AD first shoots, Howard dominating the paint, Murray playing in an incredible high level.

Why Dwight didn't play more minutes at the beginning of the 3 game when Jokic was on fire? Hard to explain

Lebron :delpiero:

Closes out the comeback kids with a monster triple double.

38 pts - 16 boards (3 offensive) - 10 assists

15-25 shooting.

What a beast.

103-99 with 4:35 left. Next 5 Lakers possessions: lebron assists Danny Green three, then 9 straight points to make it 115-103 and seal the win.

Looking forward to the Lakers-Heat matchup. I don´t think Miami have enough size to guard AD but they do have Butler, Crowder and Iguodala to throw at Lebron.

Unlike Denver´s 1-2 punch, Miami are also more fluid down the stretch with Butler, Herro, Dragic, Robinson, Bam on top of Iggy and Crowder. All of them guys know how to execute under pressure. It will be interesting, but my prediction: Lakers in 6 or 7, Lebron hates Pat Riley too much to let this one slip.

Butler for sure. Crowder not so much. And Iggy is half the defender he was in 16 and 17 when Lebron led the finals in pts, rbds, assists, steals, and blocks. If the Heat relying on Iggy to shut down Lebron they’re in trouble.

I think Bam will make life difficult for AD. He’s got the energy and athleticism for it, question will be can he stay out of foul trouble while doing it.

Bigger issue is that the Heat don’t have the size and strength to guard line-ups with AD + Howard/McGee.

Miami’s clutch shooting will be a big factor. As well as the Lakers perimeter D (which managed to shut down very strong shooting teams like Portland and Houston). If Miami can hit their outside shots consistently though, I could see them winning this. Big if though.
