Yes, but this time, instead of Kuzma needing to physically push Lebron to defend his guy,

he is casually standing next to him saying "wanna wager a Kardashian orgy that he wont even bother to fake motion to shoot?" BET.

So he's learned consistent defense aged 35?

He was always a really good defender, in fact a great defender up until a few years ago. Frankly, he got lazy. This year, he's bought into Vogel's defensive system. His defensive ratings this year are some of the highest in the league. I think he is Top 15 according to the metrics.

Imagine Simmons spends a summer secretly practising 3s and comes back firing them in for a few games with everyone standing off him.

This was last pre-season, his first ever 3.

You know what happend rest of the season? Bussiness as usual lol.

He can be an elite defender litterally any time he wants to be. Its all about effort for him, he gotten lazier with age, doesnt try in regular season, but pretty much locks on and plays very good/ great defense in playoffs.

I'm just messing with you anyway. It's hard to find that intensity to be a consistent elite defender when you are an elite scorer, have to be a special kind of lunatic or ultra competitor, at least in regular season.

Michael Jordan didn’t have any problems finding it.

Neither does Ben Simmons

Dont call BC81, for you own good, you cant even take us telling the truth about him with some humour. BC81 would just go scorched earth on Simmons for his crippling and mindbogging huge flaw.

Ben Simmons is a beast, no doubt about it. However, his inability or reluctance to shoot the basketball is a huge flaw. He is a handful in the paint, and he does possess massive potential, but I'm not sure if he has the same work ethic and dedication as Giannis.

I know Giannis will eventually start shooting the 3 at 35%+ in a year or two. I also know that, eventually, Giannis will add to his post moves arsenal. I am not quite certain I can say the same for Simmons, but if he does develop a mid range jumper and a consistent outside shot, it's game over.

Also, My Magic are going to steamroll the opposition and reach the ECFs :p

I want Aaron Gordon or Jonathan Isaac from Magic for my Wolves. Either would be perfect partner to Towns. But mostly Isaac for being a elite defender who can shoot decently. But he would take few picks to sign, while Gordon should be easier to get because you have too many front court players.

Well, both our teams are mired in shit, so it'll take a few years and a lot of rebuilding to be competitive. You guys at least have Towns, a potential superstar caliber player.

@ALC Lebron isn't the greatest shooter, but teams don't leave him open to take jumpers or threes. If Simmons can get teams to do that, it's a wrap.
