And people are upset at the possibility of Kawhi joining the Lakers would cause a Superteam and throw the competitive balance way out of whack.

A couple of things on this. #1) The league is always more fun when there is 1 primary villain. It has always been that way. The greatest time in the NBA was arguably the 80's when there were not one, but 2 villains in the league.

#2) If Philadelphia can get another shooter, they are going to be awesome. Next year, Brooklyn will be awesome. Also next year, there will be other teams with cap room.

It's not the end of the NBA as we know it if Kawhi joins the lakers. IF anything, it gives the league and the fans a common goal to hate 1 organization.

People already hate the Lakers tho. That’s such a terrible argument, Sergio. I’d rather hate a new team that hasn’t won a bazillion titles already. Like Utah or something

Nah. Denver and Portland are better. Lakers too once they assemble.
Even if the Lakers get Kawhi, their regular season won’t be where they shine. Lebron’s old and Kawhi needs load management.

Denver and Portland will be up there for sure

Rondo
Leonard
James
Kuzma

Davis
I dont think thats the starting lineup, imo Rondo and Kuzma will eventually come off the bench as we need 2 more perimeter defenders in there with Kawhi, James and Davis.

Nice attempt at jinxing Kawhi coming btw, he probably stays now

I don't think that Mike is the type to jinx. He doesn't strike me as someone who says things frivolously.

Since he claimed the role of Mark in the NBA section, i can see him adopting some of his manners too

Reports are that the 76ers did indeed offer Butler a max deal, but he turned it down. From the outside it looks like he would rather be a star on a borderline playoff team than a key component to a team with championship aspirations. Looks as if Philly made the right move @ALC

So Nets are gonna have KD, Kyrie, Deandre Jordan as top players, Dinwiddie, Levert, Joe Harris all solid role players and a few young guns in Kurucs, Jarret Allen and Hollis-Jefferson. That's not bad, has a lot of potential to succeed as well as potential to end in a dressing room disaster :D wonder what they'll do with PF though, Carroll is gone, Kurucs doesn't have the mass to play there and Dudley is too old for a while now

Butler made the move for Philly, if it was up to the team he’d still be here.

He was great for us and had a chance to go for a title. Can’t blame him too much for wanting to live in Miami tho. Their thots are on a completely different level than the Philly ones, plus the high grade yayo and the awesome beach.
