They have a chance if Durant misses most of the series. The Warriors are playing some guys who are non-shooting threats that the Raptors can ignore completely, which is a big advantage for an already elite defence.
I disagree. They swept the Blazers without KD and have already won a title without him too. Plus Lowry and VanVleet cannot continue shooting like this.

That would be true if Raptors didnt have 4 guys you can ignore most games these days. Siakam, injury or not, has been pathetic this playoffs, Green forgotten how to shoot, and Lowry and Gasol are great vet leaders but only handful of games so far they can hit open 3s otherwise no.

Norman Powell needs to start instead of Green.

Siakam was good in the regular season on corner 3's but in the playoffs he can' t make shit. Still, his advantage is just getting into the paint and shooting floaters/layups on smaller players. It got hard against PHI/MIL because they put bigger guys on him, even Embiid. But GSW doesn't have as much size so I'm hopeful Siakam can return to scoring in the paint.

Green, you just have to assume he'll make his shots. It's a complete anomaly that he's missed so many recently. Hoping he's like Fred Van Vleet where the variance corrects itself quickly and he gets hot.

Looool. I hadn't even finished typing up my post. How did you quote me that quickly? Insane :p

I don't see this one going 7, and I doubt it'd go 6. The Warriors will wither split the first two games, or find themselves 2-0.
The 1st game will tell us a lot i think. The Raptors have 3 players with experience of playing at this highest stage + the experience of facing the Warriors in a series. Leonard, Ibaka and Green (Gasol played the Dubs in 2015 but never been to the finals like the other 3). The rest of the main cast are mostly inexperienced 24 yo, and Lowry. With the exception of those above mentioned, these are the same guys that couldnt handle Cleveland mentally just a year ago, and these Warriors are a different animal to face. So im not questioning the talent, but the readiness of this team. Can they come back if they lose game 1 to a KD less Warriors team? Will they get carried away if they win game 1 and let the Warriors split the 1st two due to it? And that will decide the series because imo they need both of the 1st two games to stand a chance here

Fear not, my fellow Lakers fans. For you see, we have the second coming of the Messiah in the front office by the name of Rob Pelinka.

For you see, he managed to get a dinner meeting set up between Kobe and Heath Ledger, after Kobe saw the Dark Knight movie, and Kobe was impressed with how locked in Ledger was in his role.

Even though Ledger died 6 months before its release............................................................................................

Hey fuckstick. I'm going to be in Pennsylvania next week. Taking our son to Sesame Place.
Oh that’s sweet, this is the first I’ve heard off that park. It’s not far from philly if you two wanna stop by for a cheesesteak! I know you like Geno’s but I have to say the best is Jim’s. Either way, they’re both walking distance for me so let me know!

I'm sure an NBA superstar needs financial legal aid help.

Thats litterally what they need. WAY TOO MANY who went completely broke after their careers.

This was not a superstar (tho clear exciting talent), and didnt have long career, but gives you a heads up on the kind of life they can come from and what a stark change it is to have all that money (and fame), you can lose it all before you know it, its a nice read: https://www.theplayerstribune.com/en-us/articles/what-the-hell-happened-to-darius-miles

The only reason AI isn’t homeless is because his Reebok contract pays him out over time instead of all right away. And this guy was one of the best ever.
