I'm looking for a new phone. I currently have an Xperia M, which is okay but I can't transfer apps to the microsd and the camera is absolute shit. Despite being a semi-shit phone I've had it for two years now.

Anyways, what would be a good budget phone? I'm looking to spend USD 250-300 (American price).

I'm surprised no one has mentioned the Idol 3. It looks smooth, similar specs to the OnePlus One. I think it'll be between those two.

you will: there are plenty of chinese web shops who offer worldwide free shipping. your biggest concern might be finding a local service center, though.

if you can wait for a couple of weeks, you may want to check out the oneplus x, too. it will cost around $300, and has roughly the same hardware as the oneplus one, with a smaller footprint which is easier to handle.

i'd also check some huawei devices: honor 6 (discontinued, but highly recommended if you can find one) and p8 lite are all good options.

the idol 3 is cool for the price, but it only has a snapdragon 410 and 1,5gb of ram; the other mentioned phones offer more serious hardware and they are more future-proof.

I'd go for the HTC One M9, I love the build quality, it feels premium. I use a good old Samsung Galaxy S4 though, the same can't be said about it

XP Z5:Once again, the camera is great but it's tough competition out there and arriving late in 2015 means rivals are now available for a decent chunk less. Once the price drops, which it will, this will be a great option for those of you looking for a waterproof flagship with a Micro-SD card slot but we'd like the Full HD screen to be Quad HD and the design just isn't as nice in the hand compared to rivals.
