I never made a general statement about Pakistan's. If you go back to my post you'll see I said "there are those" and that certainly doesn't make it a general statement about Pakistani's.
it is the same for Lebanese too my friend! holding Lebanese flags with going on street doesn't mean their priority is Lebanon. Most of them support their leaders for years and decades, no matter how ugly things their leaders do. General Aoun for example was number one Anti-Syria the past two decades. Now he is Pro-Hizbollah and Syria, but he still has his own supporters following him wherever he goes (majority of them at least). Not to forget, killing each others and keeping these hate in their bloods only destroyed Lebanon the past years, none of the leaders and non of the people are giving up anything for the sake of Lebanon. You have to listen to what's going on from the both sides Tahir, hearing it from one side would make it look like it is a beauty!

From all of these leaders, there was one person who cared for Lebanon, and his name was Rafiq hariri, the rest are worse than the others..

I'm not by any stretch of the imagination saying that I'm that knowledgeable about the situation over there.

Regardless of who they want running shit in Lebanon they care about Lebanon. You know there are Pakistani's who regret Pakistan ever being created? They sing of the day Pakistan can re-join in a union. Makes me sick to my stomach; millions of people sacrificed their lives for the creation of our country and these idiots want kick dirt on that.

The people that Tahir talk about are the type of people who find a reason to doubt everything and anything..People who are simply too frustrated with life, and one of their most convenient outlets is to blame it all on the state. These people exist in every nieghbourhood, city, province and country of the world.

I disagree. I think they give a level headed view. At least it's better than watching one of the Lebanese stations which are nearly all own by some politician.
I didn't mean the Lebanese case only, but that channel has no honest intentions at all as all what they do often is making big news out of nothing.

Regarding the Lebanese case, I think LBC has a better credibility than other Lebanese channels.

Future was a very noisy channel which did nothing but making more tension in the Lebanese atmosphere. Al-Manar, NBN, Orange Tv, Al-Jadeed Tv and even the stupid Jaras are so biased too...

I'm sure there are those that fall under that category but I have had arguments with cousins who feel this way and they're not frustrated with life. They just think the grass is greener on the other side.

As for the topic Tahir talked about, you're spot on......like Revolution said.... The love Lebanese have for their country is absolutely crazy. You can follow any leader you want, any party, but loving you country is something diff from supporting a party.

Today Al Manar showed footage of how Jounblatt's Druze terrorist militias were desecrating dead Muslim Shi'a bodies which they captured, killed, and disfigured their faces.

This is the sick person who has the support of our current government.

His days are numbered now. Hezballah and the Shi'a will never EVER forget this. Mark my words, Walid Jounblatt is the next target. And I hope he dies a slow miserable death, that dirty piece of shit.

I don;t understand you people.

When there's a fucking country bordering, who's fucking constitution doesn;t even DECLARE which countries border it and where its borders lie; a country which continues to violate UN resolutions; a country that is celebrating 60 years of independence; a country that spent 20 years OWNING MY COUNTRY in the South, treating its citizens like SHIT, killing farmers and villagers; this same country who has long range missiles, NUCLEAR WEAPONS, ATOMIC BOMB....

while my country? has what? An army, with Vietnam-war/US-Army leftover. An Army while fighting fateh al Islaam a silly little militia, they had to rely on BULLETS brought in from Cairo, Amman, and even here from the Emirates.

Since when is Israel the oh-so-peaceful Switzerland? Oh how considerate of them, to cut of the electricity in Gaza hospitals, so that those surviving on an OXYGEN TUBE suffocate and die.

Is this the barbaric regime I want my country to make peace with? ANd what's to guarantee that, should the STRONGEST armed organisation in my country DISARM, will my country get the security it needs?

What's to guarantee wallah when/if Hezballah disarm, Israel will not rape the living FUCK out of Lebanon, while the entire Arab world just sits and watches like they did in 2006?

How easily you people forget. How hastily you jump to such IGNORANT conclusions like claiming it's a Sunni-Shi'a war.

I mean really, as if the Sunni gunman is REALLY thinking he's representing the UMMAYAD DYNASTY vs. the forces of Imam Hussain (A.S.)

As if the Shi'a gunman is thinking about restoring the pride and glory of the Fatimid era. Like that's really what's going on in his head.

Yeah. Sunni-Shi'a. In Beirut. Disagree over a fucking incident that occurred 1200 years ago.

Wake up for FUCK'S SAKE, and smell the coffee....enough ignorance, climb out of your shells and see the bigger picture.

Good night.

Peace.

(I wish I can post more about Juve-related stuff than Leb politics! lol....seriously will try to "discuss" in other sections!!)

Such a post is a complete evidence why I gave up on the Lebanese cause. So pathetic that people are blinded with their leader's propaganda.

    Wake up, people!!! Wake up!!!

Hezbollah fighters go to the mountains and what they expect? a coffee from Jumblatt supporter? get real.

Maybe what has happened in the mountain should be a wake up call to Hassan Nasrallah to realize that kidnapping Lebanon will never happen.

Anyway, RIP to all the victims, to everyone.

I have no respect to that clown at all, he always tries to make conflicts among Lebanese, you see him one day praise a leader, the other day he bashes. He is hiding in the closet now and talking like he is a big muscle, how can someone respect a person like him is beyond me. Even the way he disrespects the people of media, or even when he is on TV, they way he acts, like no camera is around, and that he doesn't give a shit what people think for his actions, not just that, he doesn't even know how to talk about Presidents or ministers, with calling childish names, just like he did to Syrian president, when he called him a "monkey", I mean seriously, he knows it very well how he is disrespecting Syrians that way, while he was praising him to heaven when Syrian forces were there in Lebanon..

He always talks with "I don't want another civil war", but everything he is doing is provoking the others, yeah, I don't care if that clown gets killed..

What has happened in the mountains is indeed disgusting. Yes, deaths were expected. It was a fight between the Druze and Hezbollah and it was obvious some people are going to die, but FFS not in this way. A few hours ago I saw some footage of what took place, it was so graphic and so disgusting that most Lebanese channels refrained from broadcasting it. To think that they would do this to their brothers, it's just simply despicable.

Rhizoid had some very good points. Do you honestly think those cowardly arabs are going to help us when and if we ever need them? The reality is that they want to look out for themselves and to do so, they are going to be Bush's little bitches. That is completely understandable, how could one blame them? They are just doing what's best for them. However, we shouldn't be blinded and tricked into thinking we could depend on them. That would be the biggest mistake of them all.

Assume we went to war with Israel and Hezbollah don't have the weapons to protect us, what would we do then? Who wold help us then? America? Israel's sugardaddy? I don't think so. Syria? Yeah, I bet they would love to help our Anti-Syrian government. Other Arab countries? Don't even get me started.

The point is, no one gives a shit about us. No one! Everybody is looking out for their own good. Look at what's happened to Palestine. Where the FUCK are the Arabs? Are they busy buying their million dollar castles? How they even call themselves Arabs is beyond me. People are dying over thre every single day and what have the Arabs done. They come out with brilliant quotes of bravery saying," We condone such acts and we feel with our Arab brothers". Give me a break.

As far as I'm concerned. We can be sure that Hezbollah will defend our country. I don't like them, but I do respect them. They have the balls to stand up for our country. I don't like the way they are manipulated by Iran with such ease but at least when/if we ever go to war, they'll be the ones protecting us, not our relatively weak army, not America, not the UN, not the fucking arabs, but Hezbollah. Whether you like it or not, they'll be the ones dying out there for us.

And no one gives a damn about your opinion since you're not Lebanese and you're not living in Lebanon.

Thats what still missing, someone from somewhere else wishing a Lebanese leader would get killed. Hayda li ba3d na2es.

Thats like I'm wishing the Italian or Spanish PM getting killed just because I don't like them.

What do you even know about Jounblatt??? do you even know his history? background?

You have posted several posts on this thread, useless ones...the first one was giving the stats, on how many the Christians, Muslim Sunni/Shi'aa, Druz etc are in Lebanon which was incorrect at all. Then you go ahead analyzing the Lebanese politics in such a comic way.

Had they died for us the day Syrian secret service were killing our boys everyday, kidnapping our men every night, raping our women every single day then I would have stood close to Hezbollah and I would have been the first one to join them. Yes, I'd join them.

They're a party that is supposed to protect us from everyone, not only Israel. Rafik Hariri was assassinated and we all know who killed him, yet Hassan Nasrallah came up on tv the next day praising Assad family.

I don't call this respect TBH, I call it being "cowered". You either defend your country from everyone, or don't do it and let the Lebanese Army handle everything.

Yes but Rab, Syria never waged war on us. The Lebanese army didn't defend us because we were occupied by the Syrians, we weren't at war with them.

Hezbollah calls Israel " Al Jaysh al sahyouni" for a reason. They have been training for more than 20 years to protect South Lebanon from Israeli attacks. This was their cause, they are a Lebanese resistence that's only goal was to free South Lebanon. Hezbollah wanted to protect Lebanon from any attack, Syria did not attack Lebanon. They occupied it. This was a political decision that took place decades ago during the Lebanese civil war.

Syria supported them in their movement. They have been Hezbollah's allies, unlike many other Arab countries, that's why Nasrallah praised Al Assad.

I don't know who killed Al Hariri but we don't know it's Syria. It could be, but they are innocent untill proven guilty and not the other way around.

I'm not asking them to launch war against Syria, but at least not to praise their President and make him a hero. It's like someone kills my father and then someone else comes to praise the killer of my father. All the Shi'aa vs Sunni thing right now started because of this. He chose to praise syria and claiming that Bashar is the one whom rebuilted Beirut. This automatically pushed Hariri supporters against them. Which is why we're witnessing all this thanks to Hassan Nasrallah.

Anyway, all what I want right now is to end this really. They all got to fucking now that we're from one religion since we're coming from this 10452km2.

Enough with the hate enough with disliking each others. This will lead us no where, just like it leaded no where before.

Hassan Nasrallah and Sanioura both of them should do anything to prevent civil war, really. If only both of them can have 2years vacation somewhere but before leaving to ask their supporters to end this. If only.....
