You know if there's one thing I'm impressed about you Lebanese it's that your love for you country never goes away. Everywhere I look during this conflict and conflicts in the past you are waving your flags. And despite your arguments with each other you all think of Lebanon.

I can't say the same for Pakistanis. If there's a conflict in Pakistan then there will be those who won't want anything to do Pakistan.

Kudos to you guys and Forza Lebanon.
Wrong.

But this is a thread about Lebanon so i wont get into Pakistan and patriotism.

He is fussed about his weapons because he had bought them (made those who support him buy them) and is not able to use them.
isn't he using them against Israel ? anyway .. what i also don't get .. why are they the only party which have "legitimate" weapons ... ??

Christians, even though the minority have the upper hand in Lebanon, it's just wrong. After Siniora's speech, Nasrallah withdrew his armies from Beirut, doesn't it say something?

What ? It's true though.
You clearly have no idea of what's going on. So I won't continue.

Btw Eddy please stop talking about Politics, you have no idea what you're talking about. You even said it yourself, you don't know names. Well what do you know? Are you just repeating what you heard the grown-ups talking? 10 year old kids do it all the time, they hear they're daddy talking and they pass the opinion as their own.
Go do your homework and come back when your ready to give a solid argument.

If that's true, I guess I should have researched about it more then. Chill, I just hear what friends are telling me with their 4 hour conversations and I was interested since I was born in Lebanon but anyway, I guess I'll stay away from this thread for a while then since I'm hearing different stories here then.

Nasrallah is a man known for his honesty, people respect him because he always keeps his word. A few years ago, he promised that his waepons were going to be used to fight Israel and only Israel and that would never aim them inside of Lebanon. He broke his word in the past few days and I have to say, I have lost a lot of respect for him.

Walid Jumblaat denied that his government supplied tayar el musta2bal with any weapons. Where the fuck did they get the weapons to kill those people from Hezballah then? Did they just pump them out of their asses?

If you want my advice, don't listen to your friends, family, or even us for that matter. Watch an unbiased television station(NOT Manar), try watching Al Arabiya, They usually give you a neutral opinion of what's going on. Nearly all the Lebanese stations are biased.

Listen to the speeches made by the politicians, then decide for yourself. Form your own opinion. That is if you are interested.

But ive lived with Pakistanis,in Pakistan..uh..all my life.Change your statement to 'Pakistanis who live aborad' and not Pakistanis generally.
I never made a general statement about Pakistan's. If you go back to my post you'll see I said "there are those" and that certainly doesn't make it a general statement about Pakistani's.

Doesn't really work that way. Politicians will speak about what ever they want and they don't necessarily put their words into action nor do they always hold true to their statements and promises.

I'd say research everyones side of the story and read history about the whole conflict.

Even then don't step into the arguments in here, right away at least :D
